Chapter 5: A not-so-good pre-birthday

After two hours of just introductions, the bell rang calling all the students to break time, all of akisa's classmates ran away like animals while leila was still near her

Akisa: You don't go outside?
Leyla: I prefer staying in class, i like quite places and outside there are too many people, I can't read in peace even with music on!
Akisa: You read? What is your favourite genre?
Leyla: I like thrillers a lot
Akisa: I actually like history books, I think they're the best if they're well-written
Leyla: I always thought the same too yk?
Akisa: I think people who don't like them never got their intention, they're books for improving your knowledge, not for keep yourself occupied if you're bored
Leyla: Finally someone who thinks like me!

They giggled as then akisa took her notebook and started writing randomly,  she wanted leila to be able to read so she kept herself occupied with writing her own story.
2 minutes passed already but the bell still didn't rang to recall everyone in class, she started asking herself why her classmates where still outside, when she was home-schooled, her break lasted 1 minute only
So she didn't get why the break time was still going 

Akisa then decided to call leila's attention and ask her what time does the break time ends

Leila: our break time last an hour, they leave us doing whatever we want till the sound of the rang

Akisa: an hour? Isn't that too much break? We only do three hours a day then

Leyla: Yea we do, but this was just the first day so we wouldn't have done anything the same

Akisa: yeah but, how many subjects can we do in three hours?

Leyla: we usually do four subjects in three hours

FOUR SUBJECTS? IN THREE HOURS? HOW WAS THAT POSSIBILE?
Akisa was shocked, throught her whole life her parents made her study for five hour with just a minute break between each of them
And the things she did didn't even caught her attention at all, but still she had to do them cause her parents told her that it was basic knowledge
The one hours of break passed like nothing, the last lesson of the day was supposed to be history,  but since it was just the first day, the lost all the hour in introductions
AGAIN
And akisa didn't even had enough time to introduce herself
She waited for her new friend, and then they got out of class together
Still talking about how the day went

Leyla: do you have a phone?
Akisa: actually I don't, my parents were supposed to buy me one on my birthday, but, things happened
Leyla: ohh, I see, and, does one of your family member have it? I really want to give you my number so we can keep talking
Akisa: Now that I think of it, my cousin have a phone that she doesn't use anymore,  if we manage to make it work, I can use it, by now, I may give you her number,  so that If I adjust it, you will be the first one to know it!
Leila: THAT'S GREAT!

They hugged each other as akisa then asked Khaliki if what she thought was possible
Khaliki obviously agreed and asked Leila what her number was
After Leila gave Khaliki her number, they headed to their house as it was lunch time and both of them were hungry

Khaliki: your friend's been spamming me..do you have any ideas on how to adjust that phone by the way?
Akisa: I don't know,  gonna focus on it later
Rowena: What are you talking about girls?
Khaliki: kiki just made a friend, and since she doesn't have a phone, she gaved her friend my phone number for a while, the time to figure out how to adjust my old one
Rowena: kisa dear, you never had a phone?
Akisa: never, mom said I'm still young to have one
Rowena: then we can buy it tomorrow, it's your birthday so why not
Akisa: but, it's a very huge shopping, i don't want you to spend all this money just for me
Khaliki: we can afford it dear, don't worry too much about it
Akisa: but, it doesn't feel right to me to be the only one receiving gifts
Khaliki: well it's your birthday, it's fair that people give you atleast one gift
Akisa: well, i'n gonna accept it only if also Kaka gets something for herself,  deal?
Khaliki: deal
