"Moma I'm home. Moma? Where are you?"
Emily looked through the dark room. She didn't see her mom. "Moma?" She went in to her living room where her mom usually is at night. There was some one sitting at the couch but not Emily's mom or dad or sister. The TV was on, but the screen was only gray. The person was just staring at the boxed tv. It looked like a old lady was sitting there with a long black dress with 4 dull yellow buttons on the front. She also had a doll in her lap.
"Who are you!?" Emily said in panic. The old woman turned her head slowly. Her eyes where all black. "Hello child, don't be afraid, don't be afraid". Just like the preview Emily saw. "Ma ma ry shaw?" Emily stuttered. The old woman got up and went toward Emily. Emily stepped back. The old lady went close to her face. "Yes that's my name you better remember it" she said it with a grin at the end. POOF! She was gone.
"MOMA WHERE ARE YOU?!" She cried.
The front door opened. Emily turned her head quickly at the door and picked up a base ball bat that was by her.
"Emily!? Why do you have a baseball in your hands?!" "Your here! Where were you!" I went to the grocery store. Your here early its 9:26 pm. Why are you crying?". "Oh mama there was a woman with a doll in her lap watching tv". Cried Emily as she hugged her mom. "What? You look tired I think you were sleep walking and dreamed that! Because that's impossible". "MOMA no! It was Mary shaw! First the song then the paper then the reminder then the preview and now this!" "Who's Mary shaw?" "A MURDER SHES GOING TO KILL ME AND MAKE ME INTO A DOLL MAMA DONT YOU UNDERSTAND!?"
"Okay okay calm down. Do you wanna sleep in my room tonight?" Said her mom with her sweet smooth voice. "But moma if the kids at my school find out then my life is ruined!" "No! Nobody is gonna find out."
They went into Emily's mom's room. Her mom slept on the right side of the bed. Emily slept so close to her mom. She went under her covers and slept like a baby.
