New girl is the introduction chapter for "Love Bite".

Hey there. My name is Rainbow Dash. That's right, the Rainbow Dash. I am sixteen years old and today is my first day of high school since summer break. I'm now a sophomore. I just silently congratulated myself.
And here I am.
"Thanks, Dad. Bye, love you." I got out of my dad's car, grabbed my backpack and went inside of the tall building. I went into the usual room before class started and searched around for my friends.
"Dash! Over here!" Pinkie Pie grinned and waved her arms around to get my attention. I ignored the strange looks people sent our way.
"Seriously, Pinkie? You couldn't think of a more civil way to get my attention?" I rolled my eyes at her simple reply.
"No."
Typical Pinkie. Twilight was- Of course. Studying. Applejack was arguing with Rarity as usual. I couldn't help but think something was missing. We've all been friends since kindergarten. Nothing should be missing. I was content with them. They could always put a smile on my face.
"RD. The bell. C'mon." Applejack grabbed my wrist and pulled me out the door to first period. I didn't need to glance at my schedule sheet. Apparently Applejack had first period with me.

"Good morning, class. Welcome to your first day of being a sophomore. My name-" I drowned the teacher's voice out. I stared around the room trying to remember some old friends. Tch. No luck. Only Applejack and Rarity. My thoughts were cut off by a voice. I glanced up at the door.
"Oh. I'm.. Sorry. I'm new to this county. I apologize for being late." She said sorry two times. Jeez. She must be really shy or something. Or really, really, really nice.
"It's perfectly fine. What's your name, dear?" Wow. I haven't been in this class for more than ten minutes and the teacher's already annoying me. She's being too nice. Hush, mind.
"It's.. Fluttershy." Fluttershy smiled. I stared at her for a while longer before I came to a realization. Alright, Dash. She's adorable and hot. At the same time. And her smile is really, really nice.
"That's a wonderful name. Hmm. Let's see now. You need a desk," The teacher glanced around the room before her eyes landed on me. "You. Rainbow haired girl. Your name?"
"Rainbow Dash." I answered with ease. I smirked faintly.
"Fluttershy. Go sit next to Rainbow Dash." Fluttershy nodded and glanced over at me as she sat down.
"Hey there." I smiled at her. "The name's Rainbow Dash. Just call me Rainbow."
"Hi. I'm Fluttershy. I.. Like your hair." Why did we even need to introduce ourselves? The teacher's already done it for us.
"Thanks." It was silent the rest of the class period.
Well. This'll be fun, right? First day being a sophomore and I already have a small crush. Hooray, I guess.
