Slowly gliding through the water was a tattered old boat. Soft ripples were sent flying across the lake in its wake. Made from wood it seemed almost... rustic. Its long wooden planks were rotted from age and yet it still held together. Two long oars slid through the lakes clear waters, pushing onward towards the forest's edge. In the boat a hooded figure sat rowing. A satchel of unknown contents was leaned up against them. An unused lantern lay at the back. The figure was slowly starting to near the shore, the soft drip of water sounding as the oars lifted with each stroke. Water occasionally snaking down the oars onto the creatures pale thin arms whenever they'd lift the paddles.
