Huh?

It's this dream again...

I wonder why it happens. This time, it's a different setting.. Someone else is here to.

A girl.

I can't see her face though..

Long mint hair, pale white skin..

She really is pretty...

She's by an abandoned bridge sitting on the edge.

Staring at the forest.

I sit next to her, staring to.

We sit in silence, none of us daring to say a word.

She turns to look at me. She looks like someone I've seen before..

Numbness evident in those golden eyes of hers. She looks like she's been through a lot.

Well, I guess that makes two of us...

She's about to speak, when I wake up.

______

'What the hell was that?' I think as I slowly open my eyes and stare at my ceiling.

I get out of bed and walk towards my bathroom, to get ready for school.

I hate it there. The eyes, the stares, the voices that seem to be taunting me everyday, Their sounds make my ears hurt..

Sometimes I wish I could just runaway..

Runaway from all my problems, my fears..

Hell I wanna run away from myself.. Everyday it's as if all the energy gets slowly drained out my body till there's none left. It's honestly tiring.

"Mija estas lista todavia?" My mom calls from the kitchen.

"Si mama un minuto.." I say as I slip my shirt on, grabbing my bag from the floor and getting my shoes on.

"How are you feeling today Luz? Any better?" My mom asks as she gives me my plate of food, leaning against the counter as she talks to me. I give her a small nod, not in the mood to talk, and she sighs.

"Have a good day at school Luz.." She says as I lean downwards for her to kiss my cheek.

'How could I have a good day when I'm going there? Having a good day by getting picked on? Or getting bullied?'  I think as I enter my car. I drove of for a bit, letting my mind wander back to that dream I had earlier in the day. 'An abandoned bridge huh?' I stop driving before turning around and making my way to one of the many abandoned bridges here.

I drive till I see one that looks almost exactly like the one in my dreams, before stopping the car and walking out.

I reach the middle of the bridge before I spot someone. She looks like the girl I saw in my dreams, like it's crazy similar how they both look.

I walked towards her and sat beside her looking down at the river beneath us, she looks at me and I give her a tired smile, seeing her give a tiny smile back, before turning forward and taking in the view.

"Hey..." I said as she looked back at me.

"Hey Luz..." Wait what? Did she just say my name?

"How do you know me?" I ask her, not creeped out or anything, just genuinely curious.

She gives me a confused expression before sighing. "I'm the student that barely comes to school but always comes first.." She said and something in my head clicked.  'I knew i knew her from somewhere, just have to remember her name..'

"Amity was it?" I said as I layed down on the ground, looking up at the sun.

"Yeah, it's Amity... Aren't you going to school?" She said as she pulled out a packet from her pocket.

"No.. I'm so tired of that place...." I said as she pulled out a cigarette, putting it in her mouth lighting it as she stared at the sun.

"Same..... You smoke?" She said as she turned to look at me, handing me a cigarette. I looked at it before shrugging, taking it from her hand and lighting it, inhaling but immediately regretting my decision as I started to choke. She laughed a bit before opening a bottle of water and handed it to me as I slowly calmed down.

She laughed a bit at my misery, and I couldn't help but smile and let out a sigh looking down at the river. "It's not going anywhere Luz, take it easy or you'll choke again.." Amelia said as she crossed her legs, hand under her chin as she looked at me with those golden eyes of hers that seem to be pulling me in.

"Welp I guess I have to get going..." She spoke as she got up and gathered her things in a neat and organized file. "Thank you for this Luz, maybe school won't be so bad if you were there.." She finally said as she disappeared into the distance.

I layed down on the hard concrete floor, staring at the sun that had just reached its peak and raised my hand to cover it up. "Maybe she is right..." I said as I got up and went back to my car, to start my drive to school fro my first period.

Ding Ding Ding!!!

New story alert!! How do you guys like this one?

It follows a similar writing style as 'Where's my love?' With all the angst and stuff but it also feels like this would be one of my best works along side 'Your love is for me' I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter even though it was a short one, it just felt right to end it there, adding any other detail would've felt like I was dragging the chapter on, but yeah!

Next chapter: OUT NOW
