𝒢𝑜𝑜𝒹 𝐿𝓊𝒸𝓀 𝒪𝓃 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒥𝑜𝒷.

"Hey did you guys see what Captain Man did yesterday?" Jaspers says walking towards us. 

Henry was sitting on the couch as Charlotte and I sat on the ground studying for our algebra test.

"Can we focus on algebra?" said Charlotte in an irritated voice.

"There was a fire at a pet store, and Captain Man ran inside right through the flames and saved all the animals, and he didn't even get hurt." explained Jasper.

"Captain Man never gets hurt. He's a beast." replied Henry. "I don't understand how he never gets hurt, he has to be made out of vibranium or something" i said looking up at Henry.

"You know, someday, when you guys are cleaning my swimming pool 'cause you failed this algebra test, then flunked out of school, I hope you remember this moment, 'cause i will." said Charlotte.

"First of all I don't fail tests." I replied. "Secondly i don't like science, I prefer business subjects."

"Hey, here is a cool job i could do." said Henry looking up from his computer at Charlotte and I. 

"Foot model." he said confidently, extending his left foot and putting in on the table.

"You really want everyone in Swellview to know what your feet look like?" i asked as Charlotte looked up weirdly at him.

"You guys, could we go over the list for my birthday party?" Asked Jasper. "Sure." Henry replied as Charlotte and i immediately followed by saying no.

 Henry then quickly replied "no." looking right at Jasper.

"But I invited 52 people, and nobody's texted me back yet, what does that mean?" said Jasper.

"That people have been to your parties before?" replied Henry.

 "Oh come one, my parties aren't that bad." Said Jasper in a slightly offended tone. 

"Christmas, three years ago, 15 kids ended up in the hospital." Said Charlotte. Henry continued "because of your raw turkey." "And sushi." I replied.

"It was turkey sushi." Jasper explained. "A boy almost died." Said Charlotte. 

"Almost." Jasper defended. "Oh my god." I say in disbelief.

"Okay." Henry said in an attempt to change the conversation. "First person who helps me find an after school job gets this bowl of pine cones." Said Henry making Jasper gasp.

 Charlotte and i looked at each other, then she says "why do you need a job?"

"You know to learn responsibility, challenge myself." replied Henry. 

"He wants money." Said Jasper. "I want money." Said Henry.

"Well if the kid wants money you can't blame him." I said looking at Charlotte with a slight smirk. "Money's good." Replied Charlotte.

"Can we please talk about my birthday?" Said Jasper impatiently. 

Charlotte sighs before saying "Am i gonna have to slap a boy?"

"I hope you do, I haven't had any excitement in my life in a long time." I said cheerfully.

"Henry, can you please tell me how in the world-" Mrs. Hart cuts herself off after coming down the stairs when she notices that we were there.

"Oh I didn't know Jasper, Charlotte and  Y/N were here." Said Mrs. Hart. 

"We're studying." Said Jasper. "Are we?" Charlotte replied sarcastically. "Actually Charlotte and i were studying" I laughed looking over at Mrs. Hart.
