I looked at him as my bullet pierced his flesh. His eyes were slowly draining out of life leaving nothing but the sign of my hatred in its wake. He had begged for his life and when he did, I didn't see a drop of hope flutter in his eyes. He knew he was finished once he got to see that he had laid hands on my woman.
He was a jerk, a lowlife I couldn't bare to see in front of me much longer. Apparently, he had been hiding ever since he got to know that one of his victims was related to me and I'd been onto him.
His first victim was Gloria when she was in high school. This bastard was her school teacher and dared to physically assault her once. He got away with it after the principal didn't agree to taint the school's reputation which was a bizarre reason. He had been targeting young girls since and had been getting away with it all along.
My initial target was anyone back in Japan who had any bad relations with Gloria. I had to demolish every single of them. She was my wife and nowhere in the world, I could allow having her name stained anyhow. She wasn't stained. I just didn't want anyone to know about her.
As I looked through and investigated so many people in Japan from her relatives to her neighbors I was fascinated to see that she didn't have a bad reputation with more than one person which was this guy.
It was as if she made her name void of any crime. It intrigued me how one could be so sterile or guiltless. She was the first person like that whom I came across this way.
She smiled and moved on from anything that saddened her but I wasn't guilty to be the exact opposite. I had to see the downfall of the one who harms my loved ones though they're few.
I sighed. I had shot him at the perfect place where he gets all the masculinity from. The constant work for the past few days had been exhausting and I couldn't do anything better than this to feel better.
As I walked away, Carol handed me a handkerchief. "He's still alive. Should I run the body to the hospital?"
I gave the handkerchief back to him and shoved my hands in the pocket. "Let the bastard rot."
I got in the car and opened the tab. Carol was in front as he gave me the laptop for me to check the camera in the house I had set for Gloria. There were other cameras for her friends too who were comparably in a better state than her.
I was planning on letting her meet them because they couldn't be controlled by my guards anymore. To say that they were feisty would be an understatement.
The screen lit up and I saw Gloria but now how I wanted to see her. She was smiling at her surroundings. Beside her was a man. I gripped the tab. What is she doing in my garden with another man?
I couldn't see his face, he was in the back but I could definitely see his bulging muscles. How did a man get inside the mansion? Fury invaded my veins. My wife, the wife of Zohan Salvatore wouldn't be with another man.
I hadn't informed the entire Carnival about them having an heiress but I did plan on telling them through a majestic party. If they knew that their queen is interacting with another man, they'll never accept her.
"Carol, speed up. Get to the mansion quick." I said with gritted teeth.
He looked at me. "Is something wrong?"
I let his question hang in the air while seeing her smile and laugh with an unknown man. She was scared of me but she wouldn't be scared of another man in the same torture house
The car stopped. I looked at Carol. "No Petro, there is no oil." He said.
I cursed under my breath. Throwing the laptop away I decided to run.
I ran as fast as I could. My anger busted into a volcano as the image kept repeating in my head.
I reached the mansion and didn't waste a single time. Through the main doors, I burst in.
I imagined the sight in front of me will make me destroy any man in my view, but as I looked around I found a sight that made me feel assured of her safety.
Gloria was looking at me, shocked as her doe eyes popped out. Beside her was Dante looking just as shocked. I was astonished that I didn't recognize my own brother through the camera.
"Man, what are you doing here?" Dante asked. His face was confused. I could confirm it.
I looked around. It was the garden that Dante never allowed anyone in.
