I thought a lot about what my room would look like on Asgard. I know the castle had a lot of gold theme walls etc. Finally, I remembered my room. I was so excited, it feels like a real memory, not something I thought up on my own.

The hallway slightly curves around and has walls of gold and black with black marble floors. My room is small by their standards, a servant's room but nicer than most rooms I've ever seen. The bed is in the middle of the room against the window above it. a dresser, nightstand and I think there's a fireplace in my room as well. I'm not sure how the castle is lit up at night. The bed is single size, clean and comfortable.

I hear people talking about pushing through an invisible wall but didn't really understand it before now. I feel like I'm close to a full shift.

Shifting Dream / Memory

My shifting dream felt more like a memory coming through that I was dreaming about compared to most shifting dreams.

In my dream, I met Loki on Earth. I'm not sure why he was there though. He learned I was a Linarian (immortal pacifist race) that lost my memory after the great war on Linaria. I was a prisoner of war of the chancellor that was eventually defeated. I got away because he wanted my rare power only a handful of Linarians are born with compared to their elemental powers. So Loki abducts me with the purpose of making me his personal servant. I am a teenager to linarian standards (about 15ish in appearance)

He tells me not to leave the room. He tells me I am his personal servant and I better do as I am told. I give off an attitude, I've lived on the streets of Midgard / Earth using magic to stay alive, steal, etc. I don't trust anyone. Loki tells me he is the God of Mischief, I tell him he's more like the God of Madness. He doesn't like that too much.

I run around the castle anyway and run into the Warriors three.

"Who is that? Why is she running around like a mad Midgardian?" Volstagg asks

"Maybe I am a mad Midgardian!" I yell, running off down the hall.

I can teleport small distances and land in Loki's mother's room. The queen's room is huge with a row of windows that curve around overlooking Asgard. She's looking at me curiously and smiles. I can empathically feel her kindness and am suddenly overwhelmed by it. It scares me and I push back, putting my walls up again. I end up threatening her. She looks slightly startled and a bit scared for a second before I run off. I end up outside. Siff and Volstagg are there. I take on a threatening pose and hold a small wall of water I magically have summoned between us, not that it would do any good. She takes on a fighting pose and I realize I'm a bit outmatched. Then I look around and am absolutely stunned by the view (though I can't remember the view) I lower all defenses, looking up in the sky with my jaw dropped.

"Who are you?" Siff demands.

"I'm from Linaria."

"Why are you here?" Sif asks again.

I see Loki heading my way, he is unhappy.

"Ask Loki." I nod in his direction.

"She's my personal servant." He picks me up and carries me with one arm to my room and lets me down. "I told you to stay in your room!"

"I'm sorry," I say with a bit of an attitude.

"I don't do sorry." He said.

Thor calls his brother out into the hallway. He tells Loki that I threatened their mother.

"What? Is she okay?" Loki asks.

"Yeah, apparently she just scared her and ran off," Thor says.

I then learn at that moment Loki's weak spot. He comes back into my room after Thor leaves and looks at me with fierce, angry eyes. I realize how dangerous Loki can be at that moment and it scares me, taking me down a notch.

"Did you threaten my mother?" He snarls in my face.

His 6'4" height towers over my small 5'3" size, intimidating me. "I wouldn't have hurt her. She was kind and nice and stuff. It scared me I guess."

"Well congratulations, you just pushed away the only person in this castle that might have any sympathy or compassion for you because I sure don't."

Loki then goes on about my duties and how I'm to clean his area, bring food and drink from the kitchen, and whatever else he wants me to do. He tells me I am to obey him to the letter or he will whip me for disobedience in the future.

"By the way, it's the God of Mischief, not madness," Loki tells me.

Before he leaves I ask, "Why did you bring me here?"

I don't remember what he said, but he makes a witty remark about the economy. He then vanishes through my wall.

I can see him in my mind. As angry as he was he is joking around with Thor and the Warriors 3, imitating my reaction of shock when I saw Asgard for the first time.

The first time I bring him tea, I forgot to add the tea leaves and pour him water. It's loose tea and I tell him I don't know who to make it. Instead of getting mad, he calmly walks me through it and makes me do it again.

The dream/memory moves forward in time. In one memory he had concealed his presence and got up startling me. This was his way of subtly letting me know he is watching me.

In another memory, he is in my room. He's sitting in my room, studying me with his gaze. I feel like he can read my mind or something.

"Why do you do that? Why do you make people think you are not as smart as you are?" Loki asks.

This surprises me. It's something we all do, small insults we say in the mirror and lies we casually tell ourselves and believe over time. Loki's not familiar with this behavior and not having any of it. He tells me not to do that anymore.

He threatens to hit me with the strap from time to time but doesn't actually use it. Loki likes the fear it brings in order to control me. He knows I know he will use it if he has to. It works. In one instance he's simply holding it up while I'm pinned to the bed on my stomach. I awkwardly blurt out, "Dad" to him and freeze.

Loki looks at me completely confused. "Dad?"

I blush. "Sorry, I don't know why I said that."

He uses this to his advantage and plays a joke on me. I am still afraid of him. He picks me up with one arm and brings me by his side while he sits near the fireplace.

"Daughter. Let me read you a little bedtime story." Loki smiles.

"What?" He puts an arm around me, then starts reading a horror story. Asgardian horror stories are much worse than our horror stories. I really don't want to hear this.

"What are you doing?" I start to ask confused.

Loki holds up a finger to my lips. "Shhh. Don't interrupt or Daddy will put you over his knee." He then continues the horrific details.

This continues night after night, he's enjoying making me uncomfortable and the possibility that it gives me nightmares. Then finally, I get used to it and sit on his knee.

"What are you doing?" He asks confused.

"This is more comfortable than standing," I tell Loki.

"Fine." He switches the book to his other hand and continues reading. I am getting used to this. At one point I grow sleepy and put my head on his shoulder. I suggest maybe reading poetry when he's done with the book." He looks confused.

I can hear a conversation of Loki talking to someone about it, possibly his mom. "It started out as an ongoing joke, but then it became too real. I don't think she's even listening to the words, she just likes the sound of my voice."
