I was in my beach house and the Avengers were my guests at dinner. Natasha (Black Widow) was washing her hands in the bathroom sink. I went in there and she smiled and said hi. I looked at myself in the mirror and was horrified. I had scripted I was the best version of myself, instead I was the worst. I looked disfigured and ugly. I ran off down the hall slumped against a hallway by myself and began to cry. Loki appeared and slumped down next to me and asked what was wrong. He knew I was a shifter, so I told him what happened. Loki put his arm around me and pulled me into a side hug. He told me he didn't care what I looked like and that he was my friend no matter what. This made me feel better and I was grateful for his friendship.
I can only hope this won't be the case when I shift.
