The Great Idea

It was the most normal day in DOA, Nikolai was annoying the shit out of Sigma and Fyodor was reading a book, not even bothering to mind them. Fukuchi and Bram were somewhere not around. It was just the three of them.

It appears that Nikolai, quite obviously is starting to get bored of annoying Sigma, as his reactions are always the same. Either no reaction at all, or a simple, polite "Stop please." It didn't satisfy Nikolai at all, but he didn't necessarily want to annoy Fyodor too much. He was his best friend, after all.

But then, Nikolai gets an idea. His eyes shine in excitement. Oh boy, he can't wait to tell his idea to the other two.

"Dostoy, Sigma, I have an idea!"

Fyodor doesn't take his gaze out of the book, and simply asks a question in his slightly quiet, monotone voice.

"What is it?"

Nikolai's eyes are shining brighter, and smile is widening second by second. Sigma on the other hand rolls his eyes and sighs deeply.

"Nikolai, this is the 16th 'idea' you've got in the past 20 minutes. What is it now?"

Eyes still shining, Nikolai clears his throat. It seems like he is very excited from his idea.

"Let's go into another universe!"

Fyodor and Sigma looks at each other blankly, then at Nikolai. Their faces is filled with obvious confusion, and at this moment, they aren't even taking him seriously. Fyodor's tone has some clear sarcasm in it.

"Sure. That's definitely possible and all."

Nikolai crosses his arms, and there can be seen some amusement in his expression.

"Dear friend, surprisingly enough, I'm being serious. Don't you two think that this place is kinda boring? Nothing is ever happening..I want a change!"

Once again, Sigma and Fyodor stares at each others for a moment. Sigma gives him a fake concerned look.

" What have you eaten again? Dont tell me it's those drugs agai-"

"HEY", Nikolai shouts, interrupting Sigma. They hear a slight chuckle coming from Fyodors mouth, who is finding this situation quite amusing. Sigma sighs.

"No but seriously, what's up with the whole universe thing?"

Nikolai grins while doing a dramatic pose, eyeing the two while doing so.

"Did you forget my ability? I can get us there!"

Fyodor puts the book away, showing his interest in this conversation growing a bit.

"I didn't know that was possible. Are you sure it's safe?"

As Sigma hears Fyodor talk, he glares at him with a somewhat surprised look.

"Wait. You agree on this?"

Fyodor shrugs with a small smile.

"I mean, does it hurt to try it out? It does sound a bit fascinating, or do you disagree?"

Nikolai claps his hands in excitement. Fyodor approving his idea feels like the best possible reward. The same feeling when you turn your pillow around and feel the cold side of it. The best possible feeling. Nikolai leans closer to the two.

" So, it's settled then?" He's almost jumping in excitement.

Sigma looks at Fyodor, who is nodding in approval. It's quite obvious that Sigma isn't really into this. Nikolai, however, is now smiling wider than is physically possible. he takes few steps closer to them and uses his Overcoat to teleport the trio in somewhere they haven't seen before.
