"Mani bhai problem aapka hai." Arush said, glaring at him. And Manan closed his eyes in frustation.
"Probelm mera nahi tera hai, Musibat ka free package hai tu." Manan teased back, And Jayesh rubbed his forehead. His anger was bubbling up uncontrollably.
"Manan, beta, tune change nahi kiya abhi tak. Tujhe, khana nahi khana." Mayank said, tightly clutching his right arm and signalling with his eye to shut-up, idiot.
"That will not make any difference to me, Mayank. And if you're done safeguarding your kiddo's, then join me come in, kitchen." Jayesh said, folding his arms across his chest. And manan looked at his brother with shocked eyes.
"WHAT? PAR KYUN? AND MEIN NAHI KARNE WALA KOI COOKING WOOKING! PLEASE BHAIYA. Jitne pages kahoge likh dunga. But, Cooking is not my forte, bhaiya. Please." Mayank said, and Jayesh whacked Mayank hard, making him yelp out in pain.
"ouch yaar bhaiya." Mayank cried out, rubbing the back of the neck. Causing Manan and Arush exchanged glances and burst out laughing in a split second, but stopped by Jayesh's one glare.
"Haan Mayank, I know HOW MUCH you love writing pages." Jayesh said, and Manan immediately fell silent, making Mayank glared at the floor, scowling down.
"But punishments are not meted out according to your own tastes, na beta." Jayesh said.
"Par bhaiya"
"Do you want me to cut your office hours as well, Mayank? Or shall I'll give you a whole month off." Jayesh said it very sweetly, and Mayank's eyes widen in horror and shock.
Jayesh smiled, knowing how much he loved his office, especially the group he had formed. No, not group. The entire department, and the moment he walks in, they begin their nonstop chattering, bickering, backbitching, and God only knows what more they do. Even the kids didn't talk that much, they do. Gosh!
Ah ! His Second Home.
"That's not fair bhaiya! Galti Manan aur Arush ne ki. Unko daatne ke badle aap mujhe punishment de rahe ho. Galti yeh karen aur saza mujhe mille. Kyun?" Mayank asked, and Jayesh looked at him in disbelief.
"And who encourages their braggart behaviour? Hmm? Phele Manan aur abb Arush is too following the same path. They are becoming mischievous. You could have said no, Mayank." Jayesh snapped angrily, and Arush took offence immediately.
"Baba im not---."
"Oh, the sky is blue; I'll give you a fair chance to speak, beta. And I'm looking forward to explaining why Sky is Blue." Jayesh said, looking at him, and Arush gulped but shook his head lightly.
"I know why the sky is blue. Woh toh Mani bhai ne hee yeh excuse de thi." Manan covered his mouth to keep from digging in the grave. And Mayank burst out laughing.
"Idiot usne ishara clock pe kiya tha not on sky. Chalo nahi samajh aaya tujhe. Par ceiling kabse sky hua." Mayank opened his mouth only to be whacked again.
"MAYANK, SHUT UP. "
"Bhaiya-"
"Do you want me to cut your office hours, MAYANK." Jayesh said, Mayank glared at Jayesh in retort but obliged and shook his head vigorously.
"Arey bhaiya, cooking karunga na mein. Jaise aap bologe sab karunge baas, don't cut my office privileges. Please bhaiya" Mayank sulked a little. A lot more than a little. and looked at Manan with an angry expression.
Mayank knew that agreeing to Manan's plan was foolish to do. Probably a so-called dig in your own funeral.
"Hm, I'll think on that, right now come in kitchen. Now. AND after dinner, I want you both in my study. Aur sirf tum dono samjhe." Jayesh said, staring at Manan. Manan buried his face on Mayank's back to avoid his glares.
