The party was in full force; with each passing hour, the cups were filled and refilled, their contents flowing freely. Astra found herself glued to Bill as Nic and Sonia were making out in the corner, and Sammie had vanished. They had connected quite nicely throughout the night as they bonded with reminiscent jokes about their singing lessons together.

Astra felt comfortable with Bill; which was an unfamiliar feeling to the girl as she didn't get it often. The air was filled with bittersweet nostalgia, Astra knew the party would end, and her life would resume its course. She knew they would go back to school tomorrow and ignore each other's existence, but she felt the precious time spent in the unexpected reunion would stay for her a while.

'We have to have a movie marathon! I cannot believe you've never watched Twilight' Bill had to scream over the obnoxiously loud music to the girl who was slumped into the couch.

'I will bring the popcorn!" Astra exclaimed as she was already so excited about the plan that the two drunken teens had made, and she really hoped it happened.

Her fun with Bill came to a halt as the alcohol had run through the girl quickly, and she was desperate for the toilet; as soon as Bill gave her directions the blonde sprinted off.

The lights flickered, strobing in erratic patterns that disoriented Astra. The walls had become one big blur, and the people and furniture had become obstacles in a maze.

She stumbles, laughter and apologies intermingling as she finds her way through the obscured path of people, desperate to find the bathroom. She was drunk- way too drunk, and if she had taken anything away from this, it was that she needed to stop letting Sonia convince her to do shots.

She made her way up the stairs saying hi to everyone she crossed paths with; shock on their faces. Astra didn't like speaking to people, she was kind to everyone and when spoken to she was always polite... but starting a conversation? Saying hello first? Everyone and their mums could tell the girl was too drunk.

Finally, after what feels like an eternity of hellos, she stumbles across the door that resembled where Bill said the bathroom was and Astra shoved her body weight against the door.

It was locked.

The blonde groaned and began to repeatedly bang on the door, urgency growing with each passing moment, repeatedly letting the occupier know she was on the verge of literally pissing herself and reminding them ''wasn't afraid to piss on the floor''.

Astra grew frustrated as the occupier took their time 'I swear to god if you don't open this door I'm going to-'

The door swung open and immediately Astra's face dropped. Her eyes met his gaze, his brown eyes tinged with a mischievous twinkle and held a playful charm that was both irresistible and captivating.
