Nami was pushing through plants and foliage of the forestry around her. The rustles of the leaves and grass filled the otherwise silent air. Her satchel swung with each step she took. Eventually, Nami soon stopped when she saw a cave with a pale light inside. Nami smiled to herself.

"This is it." Nami grinned.

Nami soon rushed into the cave, passing through the walls of the Cave. Soon enough, she saw a portal that shimmered with a blue glow and she soon hopped into it with glee.

When she got out, Nami soon saw the bustling town of Yokai. Her heart was immediately filled with anticipation and she soon skipped toward the town. Nami beamed as she looked around the street and buildings. All the Yokai around her soon stared at Nami with confusion and disgust.

As Nami walked, a group of Yokai soon trailed after her path with wide cheshire smiles. Nami soon noticed them but however, wasn't sure how to react to them following her. She turned her head back to see in front of her, trying to ignore them.

Soon, Nami felt an arm wrap around her neck and started dragging her through the streets. The Yokai grabbing her was cackling with sadistic laughter. Nami soon started scratching their arm, screaming, and kicking her legs crazily.

"Hey! Hey! Hold this crazy bitch down!" A Yokai yelled out.

The others that were with the Yokai soon held Nami's arms and legs and one of them covered Nami's mouth which Nami soon bit.

"Ow!" The bitten Yokai yelped, "Little shit!"

"What do you think we should do the human?" A Yokai chuckled, "Skin it?"

"Oh! Oh! I know! Let's chop it up into pieces!" Another replied.

Suddenly, from the sky, a man with large feathery wings dropkicked one of the Yokai and the Yokai soon fell to the ground. The winged man soon landed on the ground and faced the group.

He had long, silky, midnight black hair that was tied up in a ponytail with a metal band with a few white feathers. His blood red eyes stared intently at the Yokai.

Nami soon recognised him as Sakuya, leader of the Tengu.

The Yokai soon tensed up as they looked at him and anxiously exchanged looks.

"Let her go. Now." Sakuya grunted.

All the Yokai soon let go of Nami and put their hands up, trying not to show any aggression to Sakuya.

Nami soon scrambled away from the Yokai and stood up and fixed her smokey grey overcoat.

"Thank you." Sakuya smiled.

"W-we're very sorry, Sakuya." A Yokai trembled.

"Normally, I'd ask for you to not do it again, but I know you will." Sakuya bit back and he soon extended his hand out to Nami, "Now, may you come along?"

Nami soon hesitantly put her hand into Sakuya's and Sakuya soon walked off with her.

"They didn't hurt you, right?" Sakuya whispered to Nami.

"No, they did not." Nami answered.

"Good, good." Sakuya nodded.

"Thank you for saving me, though."

"It's no problem. I didn't want you to get hurt." Sakuya dismissed, "Which speaking of... How did you even get into that mess?"

"They attacked me?" Nami confusingly responded, "It's not like I wanted to get into that situation."

"Not that." Sakuya replied, "I mean why are you here? It's not common for a human to end up in the Yokai World, let alone accidentally."

"Oh." Nami tucked her hair behind her ear, "I know it sounds stupid but I came here to learn about Yokai."
