{𝑫𝑰𝑺𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑼𝑬𝑫} 𝐵𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝐹𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑠 {𝑴𝑶𝑵𝑶𝑲𝑨𝑴𝑰}

Chapter 15: The Proposal

Denki was sitting on the field waiting for Neito as he set up stuff for their picnic

Denki saw Neito coming as he quickly set the last thing up before shoving the ring into his pocket

"Nei! Over here hun!" Denki called as Neito smiled before walking over to him

"Wow..it's-its beautiful Denki, I can't believe you actually did this!" Neito said sitting down as he set down his bag

"Well I know you love picnics so I decided to do something special for you, plus a special boy deserves special treatment." Denki said

Neito felt all the blood rush to his head as he covered his face

2 hours later

Neito was laying with his head on Denki's lap as Denki played with his hair

Neito sat up as he grabbed his bag

"Let me just get my allergie medicine, the spring time is killing me!" Neito laughed

As soon as Neito turned around Denki quickly grabbed the ring out of his pocket, getting on one knee before grabbing the flowers he had in his bag

"Alright! I'm all go-" Neito said as he froze when he saw Denki

Denki smiled at Neito before taking a deep breath, trying to calm down

"Neito Monoma, it's been an incredible 7 years with you, or more considering I knew you since childhood. And I really do love you, so would you make me the happiest man by marrying me?" Denki said as he smiled nervously

"Yes!" Neito smiled happily before practically jumping on Denki

Denki hugged his fiance as he smiled. He was terrified that Neito would say no, and if he did Denki had no idea what he would've done.

Neito completely forgot about everything he heard on the phone yesterday, he completely forgot that Denki was gonna propose to him. He was too focused on spending all his time with his fiance, Neito finally found someone who loved him and he's glad that it's Denki.

Neito pulled away from Denki as Denki grabbed his hand putting on his ring

"Do you like it?" Denki asked as Neito smiled at his hand

"I love it!" Neito said happily

All of a sudden Denki had a weird feeling in his body, he felt like he was being watched as Neito noticed this and became worried

"What's wrong hun?" Neito asked

"Do you feel like we're being watched? I feel like there's another person near us.." Denki said as he got up

"I kinda feel it too.." Neito said nervously as he stood up gripping onto Denki's hand tightly

"Stay here, and I'm gonna go check the park.." Denki said

Neito had Denki's quirk now so he knew if someone came near him he could protect himself

Few minutes later

It had been around 20 minutes and Denki still wasn't back as Neito felt worry grow in his chest

"Denki!?" Neito yelled as he frantically ran around, trying to find Denki

While Neito was running around he heard footsteps behind him as he turned around punching the person in front of him, until he realized it was Denki..

"Denki!" Neito yelled

Denki was holding his nose as he looked at Neito

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you!-" Neito yelled

"It's fine, let's just go home." Denki said as he grabbed all their stuff

"Was anyone there?" Neito asked

"Nope, but it's fine.." Denki said before walking home with Neito

After they got home

"Again Denki I'm so sorry for punching you! It's just I heard footsteps behind me and got nervous so without thinking I decided to punch whatever was in front of me!" Neito apologized

"Neito, it's fine. I'm okay!" Denki smiled, trying to calm down Neito

Neito slowly calmed down as Denki smiled at him, Denki had a smile that could calm anyone down. Denki was the kind of person who could light up a room by just being there, he didn't even need to say anything. Neito felt comfortable around Denki,  Denki is always there for him, if he was having a panic attack, or if was just having a bad day Denki could help him..
