Britt was driving home from the office when a motorcycle squeezed between her car and another before speeding off. The car to the right of her honked it's horn warning a chuckle from her as the biker flipped the car off.

She turned the music up going back to her drive. Slowly more and more traffic appeared causing the biker to get caught up. As she pulled up next to him she looked out her open window at the biker. He looked over at her for a moment before flipping his visor up. She immediately recognized him her radio was turned down before she spoke.

"You really want to get yourself killed don't you?" She couldn't hear it but she could see him shoulders raise and fall as he presumably chuckled.

"Y'all we're driving slow as fuck, what did you expect?" She shook her head before she ran her fingers through her hair getting it back into place from the wind.

"Karma to take over and make you stop." He shook his head.

"I only stopped because I needed to make sure I still had my phone. I could've easily been home by now." She rolled her eyes at him.

"Isn't that illegal?" He shrugged warning the shake of the head he got from her.

"Only if I get caught and even then I'd probably get let off." He leaned back on his bike as the traffic completely stopped. "At least for once it was worth it to stop in traffic." He could swear he saw her cheeks turn slightly red but he couldn't tell if it was from the sun or not. "How've you been though?"

"I've been good. Busy between the office and the ring. How about you?" The traffic began to move again and they both knew that their conversation would more than likely be coming to an end.

"Let's continue this when we're not both driving." She nodded at his words before they both continued on their way back home. By the time Britt pulled into her driveway she could see Alex removing his jacket and helmet. "You wanna change and have a beer or are you fine in that?" She looked him up and down.

"I think I should be asking you that." Knowing that he had to be uncomfortable in jeans and a long sleeve shirt in this heat.

"Ehh heats never bothered me." He said with a laugh. She looked over at him before she mentally told herself to fuck it. She grabbed what she needed to from her car and walked towards his house. "Wanna chill by a fire or inside?" She looked up at him thinking about it for a moment.

"I would love to chill by a fire. It's been a long while since I've done that." He chuckled before nodding.

"Lemme just get Ripley. Go make yourself comfortable back there. Beer or...?" She cut him off.

"I'll drink whatever you're drinking. I'm not picky." He nodded with a small smile on his lips before the two walked towards his backyard. "You know I may get comfortable while you get the fire going."

"You do you. I can only imagine you don't want to spend all night in those. I was going to change myself if I'm being honest." She lightly laughed at him.

"Alright let's both not be dumb and meet up back here once we're ready." He nodded before the two quickly separated both opting to use their back doors for entry into their house.

By the time Britt came back Alex had a fire started and was sitting in one of the lounge chairs with a beer in hand. Ripley was between the two chairs he had chewing on a bone. As he saw her approach he grabbed a beer offering it to her while she sat in the chair next to him.

"Lord why have I never thought to put a fire pit in the back." He chuckled.

"Because you're never home." She looked over at him and couldn't fight it. It was true, it had been nearly two weeks since the two had seen each other last because she hadn't been there. "So tell me. Is wrestling or being a dentist the priority?"
