Spell Of The Unknown part 5

Misty: I guess Brock couldn't beat her.

Soon, Entei appears.

Entei: Molly cannot be beaten.

Teen Molly: Which one of you is a stronger trainer than your friend?

(Y/N): I am!

Misty: Hold it, (Y/N). Let me battle Molly this time.

Teen Molly: And who are you?

Misty: My name's Misty. I'm a water Pokemon trainer. And I used to be the leader of the Pokemon gym in Cerulean City.

Teen Molly: You're a Pokemon gym leader?

Misty: You bet I am, and I'm one of the best.

Teen Molly: You mean you don't have to be a grownup to be a gym leader?

Entei: You can become anything you wish.

Molly soon morphs into a younger version of herself, around the age of 10.

(Y/N): She turned into a ten year old.

Misty: The real Molly must still be up in the mansion with your mother. Hurry up and find em, (Y/N)!

(Y/N) agrees and she heads up the next flight of steps while Misty prepares for her battle with Molly.

Misty: Since I'm a water Pokemon trainer, I'll just use water Pokemon to battle.

Molly: Okay. I'll only use water Pokemon, too.

Molly then brings a giant tidal wave down over them as the rest of our heroes rush up the steps, much to Stitch's horror. But the water rises and covers them all, however, they realize they could breathe normally, to their amazement.

Misty: I forgot. You can do anything you want to hear.

Molly: Come on! Let's battle! (chuckles) I'll pick first.
As Molly speaks, another crystal Pokéball appears in her hand.

Molly: I choose you, Kingdra!

Kingdra materializes.

Misty: I choose you, Goldeen!

Goldeen materializes as Kingdra leads off with a Smokescreen.

Meanwhile, the rest of our hero keep running up the stairs. Soon, they finally reach the top and Delia.

(Y/N): Mom!

Delia: (Y/N)!

Delia: Is it really you?

(Y/N): Course it's me, are you okay?

Delia: I'm just fine, now. The one I'm worried about is you. I wish I knew where you got such a reckless streak.

(Y/N): I guess I got it from you.

Delia chuckles.

(Y/N): (to Molly) That's her, right?

Delia: Yes.

(Y/N): And the Unown. Have you seen any?

Delia: If you mean the Pokemon that brought me here, no. It left a while ago.

(Y/N): That was Entei. The Unown are the Pokemon that made Entei. Turned this place to crystal because of the things in Molly's imagination.

Delia: Oh, dear!

(Y/N): Come on, mom. We've gotta get out of here.

Delia: Okay. Molly. Wake up, Molly. Wake up.

Molly soon wakes up.

Molly: I was dreaming, mama.

Delia: Molly, listen to me.

Molly sits up, distressed.

Delia: I'm very sorry, Molly, but I'm not your real mama.

Molly gasps at the revelation.

Delia: You'll have to know the truth sooner or later. I'm really (Y/N)'s mother.

(Y/N): Don't you remember when we played together, Molly? We were at Professor Oak's house in Pallet Town.

Delia: We'll talk about it later, but we have to go.

Molly: But why? (backs away from both Delia and (Y/N))

Delia: We have to leave now, Molly.

Molly: (shakes her head 'no') I won't.

Elsewhere, the Unown get agitated based on Molly's emotion and feelings.

Molly: (shakes her head 'no' again) I won't.

Finally, the Unown unleash their power.

Molly: NO!

As Molly shouts, the Unown tap into her mind and feelings to make crystal spikes burst through the floor. Outside, the fortress changes based on Molly's feelings of sadness.

(Y/N): Hey, mom!

(Y/N) finds her mom behind some crystal spikes.

(Y/N): Mom, are you okay?

Delia: I'm fine.

Delia then looks down and sees a page in the book that looks just like their surroundings and gasps in shock as she realizes Molly's bringing the pages in the story to life with her imagination and sorrow.
