(Y/N)'s Journey (Pokemon Movies Fanfic)

Mewtwo Strikes Back part 4

Inside the palace, the group and their Pokémon meet the other trainers and their Pokémon.

(Y/N): Excuse me, but could you please introduce yourselves?

???: Name's Corey. And those two are Fergus and Neesha. Well, what took you guys so long?

Brock: How did you get here?

Corey: I decided to fly here. It was easy. Hurricane wins are a breeze for Pidgeot, here. Hey, guys! Say hello.

All of Corey's Pokémon, including Scyther, Hitmonlee, Sandslash, Rhyhorn and Venusaur, greet the group.

Soon, the group hear more Pokémon saying hello, including Seadra, Nidoqueen, Golduck, Tentacruel, Vaporeon, and Gyarados.

Fergus: Those are my Pokémon! It was no problem getting through that storm! I rode over on Gyarados' back.

(Y/N): Wow. I heard it takes a lot of skill to train Gyarados.

Fergus: Yeah, but once you train it, it's the most dependable Pokémon there is.

(Y/N): It sounds like your Gyarados agrees.

Neesha: You haven't met my Pokémon. Over there.

Neesha's Wigglytuff joins her other Pokémon, including a Rapidash, Ninetales, Dewgong, Vileplume, and Blastoise in greeting the group.

(Y/N): Two of you braved the sea like we did and the other took to the air. I'd say that this is a determined group of Pokémon trainers we have here.

The lights soon go off, but a blue beam of light shines down from the top of a spiral staircase.

???: You are about to meet my master. The time has come for your encounter with the greatest Pokémon master on Earth.

Some of the Pokémon brace for battle while Eevee and Togepi go back to their trainers. Then through the beam of light, a figures descends.

Brock: What's that?

(Y/N): I don't know, but I got a bad feeling about this.

The figure is soon revealed to be Mewtwo.

???: Yes. The world's greatest Pokémon master is also the most powerful Pokémon on Earth. This is the ruler of New Island and, soon, the whole world. Mewtwo.

(Y/N): Mewtwo?

Eevee: Eev. ("Mewtwo.")

Fergus: A Pokémon can't be a Pokémon master! No way!

Soon, Mewtwo starts talking through his servant.

Mewtwo: Quiet, human. From now on, I am the one that makes the rules.

Misty: How's it talking?

(Y/N): My guess, telepathy. It's not moving its mouth.

Brock: You're right. It's psychic!

Mewtwo proceeds to lift Fergus up via Psychic, chuckle, and toss him into pool where his Pokémon are.

(Y/N): Fergus! (in thought) That thing is powerful! Strong enough to lift a human!

Fergus soon resurface.

Fergus: We'll show you! Let's go, Gyarados!

Gyarados and Fergus exit the water.

Fergus: Gyarados, Hyper Beam attack!

Gyarados charges up and fires, but Mewtwo easily blocks and reflects it back at Gyarados, prompting Fergus to check on it.

Fergus: Gyarados!

Mewtwo: Child's play. (to his servant) Your usefulness has ended.

Mewtwo releases the woman from his control, who proceeds to faint, though Brock catches her, and it's revealed that she is none other than the missing Nurse Joy from the Pokémon Center. She then awakens.

Brock: Nurse Joy!

Nurse Joy: Where am I? And how in the world did I get here?

Mewtwo: You have been under my control. I transported you here from the Pokémon Center. Your knowledge of Pokémon physiology proved useful for my plan. And now I have cleansed your tiny human brain of memories from the past few weeks.

Brock: Who are you?!?

Mewtwo: I am the new ruler of this world. The master of humans and Pokémon alike.

Misty: You're just a bully!

Eevee: Eev! ("And how!")

Mewtwo: You humans are a dangerous species. You brought me into your world with no purpose but to be your slave. But now I have my own purpose. My storm will create my own world, by destroying yours.

Brock: So, you hate all humans, and you're going to destroy us to save Pokémon.

Mewtwo: No. Your Pokémon will not be spared. They have disgraced themselves by serving humans. Those Pokemon are nothing but slaves.

Eevee: (gets down from (Y/N)'s shoulder) Eev! Eev Eev! ("Mewtwo! You're wrong! I'm not (Y/N)'s servant, she's my friend")

Mewtwo: So, you say I am wrong? That you are not this human's servant? You are her friend?

Eevee: Eev. ("That's right.")

Mewtwo: You are as pathetic as the rest.

Mewtwo uses Psychic to lift Eevee up and throws him, though (Y/N) saves him from hitting the ground.

Eevee: Eev! ("(Y/N)!")

(Y/N): Eevee!

Misty, Wartortle and Bulbasaur go and check on (Y/N) and Eevee.

Misty: (Y/N)! Are you two okay?!

(Y/N): (gets up) This has gone far enough, Mewtwo!

Corey: If you are a Pokémon, there's no reason I can't capture you! Go, Rhyhorn!

Rhyhorn charges in for a Takedown, but Mewtwo effortlessly stops it, to Corey's shock, and sends Rhyhorn sliding across the table.

Corey: No! Rhyhorn!

Mewtwo: Fools. Your Pokémon attacks cannot weaken me. My powers are too great. No trainer can conquer me.

(Y/N): Then you won't mind proving it in a real match!

Mewtwo: Is that a challenge?

(Y/N): You bet it is! I'm the best trainer there is.

Mewtwo: (scoff) If you are the best trainer there is why don't you prove it right now.

Mewtwo then uses his powers to awaken Venasaurtwo, Charizardtwo, and Blastoisetwo. The clones then rise out of the floor where Mewtwo is.

Mewtwo: Like most Pokémon trainers, I, too, began with Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. But for their evolved forms, I used their genetic material to clone even more powerful copies.

Neesha: Copies?!

Corey: They're clones!

Soon, everyone's hearing is tuned to a strange sound. Then, the window behind the staircase reveals a stadium, all set and ready for the battle.

Brock: A stadium! Mewtwo planned this all along!

Misty: If he has three Pokémon, then its fair for three trainers to take him on one at a time.

Corey: Your fake Venusaur can't beat my real one! Right, Bruteroot?

Bruteroot agrees.

Neesha: We'll blow away that fake Blastoise, won't we, Shellshocker?

Shellshocker confirms.

(Y/N): (gets out a Pokéball) It may not have a nickname, but I do have Charizard.

Charizard materializes, spots Mewtwo, and let out a loud roar, fazing Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: Your Charizard is well trained, but can it last in the battle.

Charizard shot a small fireball, angry at the comment, but (Y/N) stands determined. Soon, the battle is about to begin.

Mewtwo: Now then, which of you will oppose me first?
