The warm Sumeru sun shone brightly overhead as Tighnari started his day of work. Typically he worked within the safety and shade of Gandharva Ville where he didn't have to worry about such matters but today he found himself in Caravan Ribat to exchange information with the General Mahamatra, so the heat was much worse.
As he made his way through the stone-paved streets, he tugged one of his large fluffy ears down to shield himself from the sun, despite this effort his eyes were still watering and squinted. This made keeping an eye out for Cyno much harder. "Cyno... I have to find Cyno." He thought to himself as he continued his search, desperation quickly filling his mind. He glanced around frantically before letting out a sigh. Where could the Mahamatra be?
"Cyno..." He muttered under his breath, fidgeting uncomfortably with his clothing.
"You called?" a raspy voice spoke from behind the fox. He turned and there he stood, as if he was there the whole time.
"Cyno, there you are! I was looking for you to uh..." Tighnari found himself lost in thought, he suddenly felt unusually warm. "Pardon me, but I cannot recall why we were meeting today."
The general crossed his arms and smiled. "You wanted me to help you gather information on the flora produced in the Sumeru desert, I brought the samples you asked for."
The scholar was barely able to pay attention to the conversation. He bit his lip and furrowed his brows. "Oh yes! I do require your assistance for a part of this, as I'm not familiar with how to handle these species, could you help me?" Cyno nodded in response, "Yes, what do you need help with?"
A few moments passed where no words were shared, Tighnari stared at Cyno with a flushed face.
"Tighnari, are you alright?" The general tilted his head to the side and placed his hand on the scholar's shoulder, causing him to jump a bit.
"Oh, yes! It's just uh..." he paused and his eyes wandered as he planned his words. "I don't do well in heat."
Cyno looked around at the barren scenery, and at the blinding sky above. "That makes sense, I suppose the desert is an acquired taste."
His choice of words made Tighnari even more flushed as a few dirty thoughts rushed through his mind. "That's... exactly what I meant yes... anyway, I need your help extracting seeds from some of the desert fruit."
The general removed his hand and placed it down at his side. "Alright, I'll go retrieve the samples. Does your boarding have a kitchen?"
Tighnari nodded.
"I suppose we will be meeting there then, go on ahead and I'll meet you there."
"Yep, see you there! In my hotel room... alone." The last few words were spoken as Cyno had already turned and walked away. Tighnari felt doom looming overhead. He grasped at his ears in embarrassment, tugging them down to cover his eyes and flushed cheeks as he accepted his fate.
After he had finally made it back to his hotel he glanced around frantically, being indoors did nothing to effect the burning hot temperature.
"Fuck! I really didn't time this meeting well." He cursed under his breath and tugged at his ears once again as the warmth centered itself in between his legs, his knees buckled and he whimpered as he slid down the door. Now on all fours on the floor panting desperately as he tried to figure out what to do.
"Cyno is gonna be here any minute I don't have time to-"
"Don't have time to what?"
He whipped his head around and saw the General Mahamatra standing in the doorway. He carried a few crates in his arms and the hot Sumeru sun behind him caused his white hair to glow softly.
