Chapter 1: New Beginnings

It was a cold winter morning, Mezu woke up on the cold winter ground buried under two feet of snow. He got up confused about how he got there, he said "What happened last night?, Why don't I remember anything?, I can worry about that later. Let me get out of the cold. I'm freezing" He then went into the nearest building he saw. It looked as if no one was in it so Mezu walked inside. Suddenly about three people in dark shapeless cloaks with ox masks ran up behind him and grabbed him, Mezu said "HEY, WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING?!?! GET OFF OF
ME!!" Then one of them punched him so hard he passed out.

When Mezu woke up he was in a large pit. He looked around and noticed he was surrounded by millions of people in black cloaks. Every one of them had ox masks on. Mezu was bleeding but didn't notice. He was too distracted trying to figure out where he was, he didn't notice the man in all black and a crow mask right in front of him. The man with the crow mask started talking, he said "I will revive the king of my people, my lord will walk this earth once again and he will rule these lands once more all we need is mortal sacrifice". Everyone else started cheering. While he was ranting on about his king, a figure that appeared to be a man stormed in and wiped out all the people with ox masks on within an instant.

This man then released Mezu, The Man said "Shhh don't say anything" Mezu stayed quiet but as he was being freed the man with a crow mask started to laugh hysterically. He then said "Foolish humans it's too late. I already sacrificed one of my men for my king. I just brought you here for the show, my king is here! It's time to change this wretched world" and Then a Stormy figure exclaimed,'' Well this isn't good" A big dark cloud appeared in front of the man with a crow mask. The

Fear on Mezu's face told The Man to save him. The King walked out of the dark cloud saying "It's been so long since I've been out here, why did you have to bring me back in the coldest time of the year?" The man with the crow mask said "I apologize my lord" The king then said with an evil smile "No matter it appears we have visitors" The Man said "It's time to go" then he knocked the King into a wall with his wind powers and

said "Get out of here it's about to get real dangerous", Mezu said "You don't have to tell me twice" and ran as fast as he could. Mezu started running through the cold bright snowy woods. After a while of running Mezu was tired and stopped running. He looked back and The Man who was fighting The King caught up to him. Mezu said, "I thought it would have taken you longer to beat that guy". The Man then said "Beat him? I was just buying you time to get away" Then the King Flash stepped behind The Man. The King punched him right into the mountain, King walked closer to Mezu raising his fist saying "You need to stay away from those Tempest, they're no good, they

are backstabbing low-life thugs who will all be executed by me" as The King swing his fist at Mezu The Man jumped in the way and blocked the hit, he looked back while blocking and said "Hey, my name is Aom-"Right before he was able to finish the word The King grabbed him and threw him up in the air. The Man used wind to stop himself from being launched any further then flew straight down and punched the king right on the top of his head making a crater where he was standing and knocking the king out. The Man walked up to Mezu and said "Like I was saying before he interrupted, I'm Aomori Tempest ". Then Mezu said, "Hey thanks for saving me. That guy was crazy strong, I'm Mezu by the way". While Aomori and Mezu were talking, The King's eyes opened back up. He then jumped out of the crater Aomori grabbed Mezu and threw him behind him using his wind to make sure Mezu didn't get hurt. Aomori then shot multiple long-range wind drills then blasted a wall of wind at The King. The King tanked all of them then turned around and started walking away. He said, "This is a waste of time. I will be back with a counter to that wind, be weary Aomori I will come after you again to end you and that pesky family of yours."

Mezu started to say to himself "why does my arm feel wet?" He looked down and saw his arm was bleeding out, then he turned around and saw a trail of his blood, then he fell to the floor and passed out from blood loss. Mezu woke up in a bed on the floor, he said to himself "was that all a dream?" As he was getting out of the bed he noticed the bandages on his arm. Mezu then said "I get it wasn't a dream" grunting from the pain, he walked out of the bedroom and saw Aomori cooking food. Aomori said "HEY guess who's finally awake, hungry" Mezu said "shh please not so loud my head hurts while touching the bandages on his head, and yeah I could eat" Aomori gave him a bowl of rice. Mezu said "thank you but umm, how long was I out for?" Aomori said "about a day or two ". There was a loud BOOM sound outside. Mezu said "hey what was that?" Aomori said "that's just the boys fighting, aye do me a favor, call them in for dinner" Mezu put his bowl down, got up and opened the doors. When Mezu opened the doors he saw what seemed like familiar faces but couldn't recognize who they were. They were moving so fast Mezu could barely tell they were fighting each other. They were moving so fast that Mezu's eyes could barely keep up.
