Note:
Dearest gentle reader, this story shall be a bit different from what you might've yet seen on this app. For not one, but two authors shall work on this project.
There is no plan. It's a creative work that we'll post chapter by chapter, everything we do coming straight from our overworked little pea brains.
We kindly ask you to give us any tips or comments on the writing so that we may improve. Just any time you might have some constructive criticism, pleaseee put it in the comments. Should we add more sounds, smells, overal description, is the conversation weird - anything that pops into your head.
Now, without further ado, we wish you a good ride.

All over the country there wasn't a person that didn't know of Lord Henry's apple orchard. Or, his Apfelgarten, as he insisted on calling it. It wasn't even because the apples were all that great – they were quite mediocre – but rather because of a certain secret the Lord kept from the public. Within the orchard lies a peculiar kind of place; a tall gate surrounded by trees, making it impossible to look inside. Trees that never seemed to die, mind you. They say only he has ever set foot in it, and my mother would call anyone that thinks it is just a garden, like he says it is, a fool.
I wonder if I should tell her then, what it actually is.
But I imagine Lord Henry would prefer the mystique surrounding it, and who knows how fast mother would spread the word. Though it is a... strange type of marketing. Whatever the case, it is not my secret to share.
I pause before I knock on those giant doors. Is this really a good idea, I ponder, before knocking anyways. Sometimes you shouldn't think, but act.
