"Wait. You're what?" Kihyun asked, scratching his head as he looked between me and Changkyun. It was the next afternoon. All of us were gathered in the guys' room again. Changkyun and I hadn't had time alone to talk about our new relationship status yet. Minhyuk joined us for dinner last night—the most awkward dinner of my life. Then this happened.

"They're dating," Minhyuk proudly announced.

"Why are you the one telling us? Isn't that something they should share when they're ready?" Shownu spoke up. Changkyun and I exchanged a look. He softly smiled as he reached out and took my hand in his. If we were really dating, it would have been a move that melted my heart. And it made my heart pound—but for other reasons. What were we doing?

"I guess we're ready now," he told our friends. "Anyone got a problem with that?"

"Finally! I was so tired of being part of the only couple in our group," Wonho exclaimed, breaking the tension. We all laughed. I leaned against Changkyun and turned my head to his ear.

"We really need to talk," I whispered to him. He nodded.

"Ohmygod, they're so cute!" Minhyuk said, giggling. "Of course no one has a problem with you two being together. We're all happy for you."

Almost everyone agreed. Jooheon sat quietly watching us, a frown creasing his brow. The butterflies returned to my stomach. My eyes met his and he quickly looked away, forcing a smile on his face. My lips turned down. Was he upset about our new relationship? Was there really something between him and Changkyun?

"We should go out tonight," Wonho declared.

"It's Wednesday. Some of us have classes tomorrow," I argued.

"And one of us wanted to take his girlfriend out tonight," Changkyun added. "So, you guys go and have a good time."

"I'm not going," Jooheon said as he got to his feet, grabbing his bag and slinging the strap over his shoulder. "I gotta go. I'll see you guys later."

Jooheon glanced at Changkyun for a long moment before leaving the room. My stomach knotted. There was definitely something there. This wasn't going like we'd planned at all. Minhyuk jumped to his feet and hurried after the boy. Changkyun and I exchanged a look. The other four made plans to go out after dinner.

"So, where are we going?" I asked my boyfriend.

He smiled. "Out to dinner. Go get ready. I'll pick you up in half an hour."

"It's nice of you to think I need so little time," I teased, a smile pulling at my lips.

"You look beautiful all the time."

I leaned over and kissed his cheek before getting to my feet. Minhyuk entered the room as I walked out.

"Where are you going?" he asked. "I thought we were going to dinner."

"Changkyun's taking me out. I have to get ready."

"Oh." He forced a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "I'll see you later. Have fun."

He patted me on top of my head and moved aside so I could leave the room. I looked back at him as I walked away. What was wrong with him? He never did that before. Shaking my head, I hurried down the hall and to my room. I had a date to get ready for.
