Up above or to the side... whatever you're on the picture is of Sadie's mom and dad, Baseball Boys the first books main characters. I thought maybe if you did read that book you'd like to know what they looked like now in my vision... or what Pinterest picture I could find.😂 so that's what they look like. The next few chaps I'll post like Sadie, Callie, Luke, & Alex. Kay?? okay.

CHAPTER - SIX
-
Sadie:

"Sadie? Hello, you in there?" Luke was standing in front of me smirking.

"Knock, knock, anyone home?" He took his fist and lightly patted my forehead with it.

I smiled while batting my eyelashes making my eyes water. "Hey... I was just joking about pouring cold water on you." he pulled me to him and hugged me.

"What? and I'm not crying my eyes are just waterin'" I tell him, but stay in his arms.

I'll admit I am a little jealous of Callie when her and Luke flirt because I do have a minor crush on him. Who can't I mean he's fine as hell.

"You looked like you were crying and I don't like it when my- I mean girls cry. So I like to hug them because that's what people say to do when girls cry." I looked at him with a look, "Oh really?"

He looks down at me and pushes a few pieces of hair that had fallen out of my ponytail. "So what do girls do when guys cry?" I asked raising a brow.

He smirked, "They give'em a kiss." His hands still settled on my cheeks.

"So you aren't just talkin' to me now because of my dad are you?" I asked looking down holding the cardigan I had on closer to me as the wind picked up a little.

"Why would you ask that?" He moved a hand to my chin and raised it up for me to look in his chocolate eyes. He looked like he was searching for something, an answer.

"Honestly, every boyfriend I've had has used me to get to my dad. I've never told him that because it would kill him, but it's true. I can go get him now for you to take a picture with him. You should've just done that when you got him to sign your hat. That doesn't matter though because after you leave tonight you're not going to come back and neither is Alex.

"Since you've met your favorite baseball player you're going to forget about me and go straight to the stage of "Oh My God, Jake Jones has a daughter and I could so use her to get him to give me tips on how to bat or pitch" and then your not going to even notice how bad it hurts his daughter and how much she actually likes the- "

"Sadie stop! What are you talking about? I'm not going to use you to get to your dad. I have no use for him, yes it's pretty damn awesome your dad is Jake Jones but no I don't care for that. I might like the fact that the girl I maybe have feelings for is the daughter of a once Major League Baseball pitcher, but no, God no I would never use you to get lessons on what to do in Baseball from your dad." He grabbed my arms from holding my face and pulling into his chest.

"Sadie please, believe me. I wouldn't do that to you. Who used you to get to your dad? What dick was it so I can beat the shit outta him?" His hands were now in my hair, his mouth by my ear whispering, my face in his chest smelling his Hollister cologne. It's all to much at one time.

"No one. I'm sorry. I've got to go." I pulled back all at once and ran to the house. Yes, I had tear stains on my face and running from my problems was one thing I've never actually tried to do, but this one was.

The fact that I heard heavy foot steps from behind me scared me and I tripped over my own two feet falling to the sand. I burst into more tears, this was one of my worst problems when I cry, I cry about everything under the moon.
