Her dream was a dark memory brought forth by the obsessive replaying of her most vilest moment of pure evil.

Her dream was not a dream. It was but a single memory burned into her mind as long as she still breathed and it haunted her on a daily basis.

Victoria's unconscious mind led her down a dark road with trees on either side as she sat slumped over in the passenger seat of Veronica's car.

Her face pressed against cold glass as she suffered from the after effects of  partying and a night in a jail cell. The radio buzzed as Veronica tried to find the perfect station and in the backseat, Vinn sat playing with an old Nintendo.

Veronica slammed her hand against the knob of the radio - effectively shutting it off - before glancing at her younger sister's slumped over body.

"Why do you keep doing this, Vicki?" She sighed into the quiet cabbie.

Victoria kept her mouth shut even as a twinge of guilt hit her. When the police had called her home, Veronica had been the one to come bail her out. As usual.

Victoria remembered the first time she had done this mom and dad were furious, but after the second, third, and fourth time, she couldn't afford any more tireless arguments and screaming and had begged Veronica to help her.

Victoria's blood rushed through her ears as her heart pumped the remaining bits of alcohol and Marijuana through her body. She sighed content even as Veronica glared at her in disgust.

"You're lucky I'm the one who picked up," Veronica said as she continued on towards home. Soon they would hit the old bridge that looked over the city.

Ever since the new bridge had been constructed, the old bridge had become abandoned but the sisters often found joy in using it anyways much to the dismay of their parents.

"Thanks a lot, big sis," Victoria slurred sarcastically. "But I could have taken care of myself."

"Right," Vinn muttered from the back seat. "Just like you did all the other times."

He rolled his eyes in annoyance. At the ripe age of 16, Vinn had become accustomed to the constant fighting and chaos that followed his older sister everywhere and had accepted that nothing they could do would change her.

Not even Victor could change her and he was the oldest, most influential child in the family.

All the London family could do was sit and watch as 17-year-old Victoria tore herself and her future into shreds with her constant abuse of alcohol and drugs.

By the time Victoria had turned 15 she had gone to jail seven times for vandalism, breaking and entering, assault, arson, street racing, and theft. She had been expelled from five schools already and was facing time in juvenile detention if she didn't get her act together.

None of this seemed to bother or even rattle Victoria and she continued to do what she did best: defy the law and her family.

Victoria turned in her seat and glared at Vinn who glared right back in defiance, daring her to contradict him.

Victoria looked away and stared out the window as the world passed by in a blur. Her head was exploding in pain and her mouth felt like shit, but Victoria preferred it that way. She had been out celebrating her upcoming birthday and couldn't give a rat's ass about the consequences.
