The club lights are dim and the music is muffled. The bag on my head is thick but I can surprisingly breathe. They drag me up some stairs and then everything goes quiet. They seem to argue over something and then it's quiet once a door opens.
“Get… now.” Someone says most of it is muffled but 2 piers of hands drop me to the floor and I grunt from the impact. One pair of footsteps leaves. ‘Multiple limbs, huh?’ I think to myself.
The room is cold and I try to lift myself from the ground but the ropes digging into my wrists and ankles prohibit me from moving much.
A confident pair of footsteps walk closer to me and stop directly in front of me. The person pauses a moment as if assessing me.
A moment passes and then I feel a harsh pull from my scalp, forcing me to look up. I hear mumbling and then the bag is ripped off.
My eyes try to adjust to the dark but I wish they hadn't.
"M-mr. Mathew." I say in fear. 'Shit. Argulo had better made it already.' I think to myself.
"Mr. Videlli, I hear you have been trading secrets with my enemies." Mathew says certainty. There is no playful banter or hurt. He knows. 'Hopefully not everything.'
"There is nothing to gain from killing you outright so please be honest with me and we can fix this." He continues with that trusting smile. But I know better than to trust a snake. "I don't have anything to say to you." I reply evenly. 'Hurry up Argulo.'
He drops me from his hold and my face slams into the floor. "Very well, I prefer the hard way to." Mathew says and walks behind me.
It's silent for a moment until I hear a door open and two pairs of footsteps walking towards me.
"Be careful with him, he was family after all." Mathew says before I hear him walk away.
There's a second of silence before a scream rips out of me. The burning pain feels as if it's melting my skin, I can't pinpoint the spot it starts at as it covers me in a wave of pain.
