Trigger warning ⚠️ blood

'I am sorry to tell you that he is in a coma' says the doctor. Tori is also there, but no Tao. Shockingly 'Elle wouldn't let Tao come' whispers tori to me. I nod. There's no Michael-I'm guessing he's with his son and dog.

Tori takes some deep breathes. She was diagnosed with autism at 19, and she's trying to accommodate herself more. She fidgets with a squishy  and is wearing earplugs. Her sunflower lanyard is on top of her hoodie. I feel her. I'm autistic and I can never wear a lanyard on bare skin. My sunflower one is in my socks draw. Speaking of socks thank god Sunil has spares for me at his place. I was able to shower and change Clothes thankfully.

'Ok so we have put him on life support, and we have diagnosed him with liver failure and kidney damage. He will most likely need a double transplant.'

Toris face falls. She looks like she wants to cry. Tori NEVER cries. Like EVER. I feel so bad for her. Her brother. I was meant to keep him safe. and I had failed.

'I can have a nurse take you to see him'

I nod, and so does tori. A young woman comes into the consulting room and takes us through.

Tori rushes over to Charlie. He has tubes sticking out of him and he's on dialysis. I watch his blood go through the tubes and tori clutches his hands.

She cries.
