My Knight <3

Her New Knight <3

Lana's POV:

As soon as i opened my eyes after a peaceful nights rest i had remembered what my father had told me a few nights back;  "You're getting a new knight appointed to your side on Wednesday." Father had spoken to me, as curious as i was, i asked about a million questions like "Why do i need a new knight." and "What is he like?" you know questions like that but i was disapointed to know that my father didn't know anything about the guy but knew he could be trusted as he was hired from a neighboring royal family from the next kingdom over who we were close aquaintinces with.  i thought it was strange i was just randomly getting a new knight appointed to my side but father just wanted to make sure i was extra safe, especially after the forest fire just down by the river of wishes. After that quick flash back of Sunday night i quickly get up and start the day by picking out one of my favourite dresses and then start running a nice bubble bath as i have time to kill before breakfast starts. 

-Quick timeskip-

After getting out of the bubble bath and getting ready for the day. My dress was my favourite dress as it was plain and simple but it was a long ankle length dress that was silk smooth and a deep sage green colour. After that i brushed my hair, put some jewellry on and slid a pair of platform mary janes on, just to seem a little bit taller. At last as soon as i put on my crystalised tiara. The bell for breakfast rang and off i went from my chambers and paced down the hall, trying not to be late. 

I open the doors to the dining hall to find my father sitting at the head of the table, with an armoured stranger. His armoured looked brand new. Silver and shiny, and the thing that made his armour so alluring was the flowers and vines wrapped around certain places, and my favourite flower was there too, a singular sunflower was planted on his chestplace.  As i shut the doors behind me and give a curtsy to my father, "Lana, my love, this is the new knight who will be appointed to your side. I mentioned on Sunday night." My father spoke to me as he gestured me to sit down at the table. Just as i sit down the mysterious knight starts to walk with pride down to where im sat and bows. "Your highness, my name is Dylan. It's a pleasure to meet you." The knight announced and said his name was Dylan. "Its a pleasure to meet you as well Dylan, im sure we will be well aquainted after a while." I had said to him, and just after i had finished speaking, Dylan picked the sunflower from his chestplate and handed it to me, "I understand that sunflowers are your favourite flower? It's an everlasting flower so it wont start to wilt." He expresses and as i take the flower i smile and thank him for this sweet gesture of kindness.

i decide to go show Dylan around the castle and lastly show him my own private garden. "And finally this is my garden of thoughts. It's where i come to cool off or even just to sit around and relax myself." I speak as i go to sit on the white bench just in front of me. "It's a beautiful garden Princess, much like yourself." Dylan compliments. I give him a quick smile and hide the fact i get a litlle pink in the cheeks and excuse myself to my bedroom as its getting late and i should be heading to bed. Once i get to my bedroom and undress myself and get redressed into my silk nightgown. i pop my head out from my bedroom door and wish Dylan a goodnight and close the door. I quickly brush my hair and put them into braids and soon after i lay down on my bed and wonder how well i will get along with my new knight and quicky fall asleep and get ready to start a new day.
