Chapter 1

I was coming home from a long dreadful day of school and that's when I saw him

a tall skinny Spanish man who I obviously didn't realize

"Mom who the hell is this"

I ask my mother

"Now Ella don't be rude this is Luis he is a foreign exchange student from Spain and he gonna be staying with us"

I was shook by my mother words this was a whole stranger

"Mom no his a Rando who we don't even know"

I say out loudly hoping the boy would get the hint and leave

"Ella this is not up to debate his is staying with us and plus Luis is very close to your age maybe y'all should be friends"

My mother was out of her shit, friends?
That was a joke

" ok but where is he gonna sleep we only have two rooms mine and yours"

My moms face turns in to a "oh about that" look which gave me a bad feeling

" well your room is really big so I had a wall installed in the middle of your room so now we kinda got there rooms"

I was shook now my room was split in half and my was next door to "his"

"MOM I NEVER AGREED TO THIS"

I yelled out

"YOU KNOW FUCK IT IM GOING TO MY ROOM AND I DON'T WANT YOU TO BOTHER ME LOUIS"

I yell out purposely saying his name wrong I walk in my room and could tell that mom at least gave me the half with the bathroom Luis had the right Side and I stare at the new wall and there was a door at the left side of the wall

I lay on my bed with my phone texting my friends Tracy and scarlet on our Instagram group chat telling them about the situation

Scarlet: I heard a lot of foreign exchange students were hot as hell 🫢

Tracy: scarlet shut up 😒

Ella: trust me scarlet my life is ruined this isn't a romance story

I heard my door open and look who it was and it was Luis

"Sorry"

He said in a shy tone as he went in "his room" this was awful and now he would have to come to school with me and embarrass me

And I dreaded the thought of Iris seeing him this would be her big moment to bully me after 2 years of finally leaving me alone
