He sat down after a hard day of school, putting his work together after doing 2 tests. He wanted to relax. He wanted to get some rest. But, his friends wanted to play games, so he decided to. Ethan always struggled with saying no to people or his friends. He is a big people pleaser and loves helping people feel good. He started up his Playstation with the loud *beep* and how his system sounded like a jet engine. He sat in his chair, putting on his headset, ready to get on. As his screen loaded and got him into the amazing virtual world, he started a "party" with his friends.
"Well, it took you long enough!" Said his best friend
"Sorry, I did a lot today. But maybe some games will help!"
They both started their game, and their eyes in amazement went into the virtual world, where people could play games, communicate, and have fun with others, whether friends in real life or not.
Ethan and his friend booted up into this one online server, it was a server for people who were gay, people who felt safe within the online server. It's sort of weird, but Ethan always enjoyed meeting new poeple, and always continued to go there for some reason.
Ethan and his friend looked around at the new updates, whether it be a new hangout room, with voice cancelling doors. That way, conversations are private. Or a little ferris wheel to enjoy and look around at the sites to see of the city. Ethan always enjoyed this place, it felt comforting and safe to meet people with the same difference that people made weird. But Ethans friend was not apart of the LGBTQ community, but his friend didn't mind.
But, little did Ethan know...
