Percy, Nico and Jason ran towards the scene, panting as they had already searched through the whole castle. They had cried until their eyes were dry, but then Nico said something... That he could no longer feel her death. And so they ran, and ran.

When they arrived, they saw Hazel asleep on the floor. But they knew she wasn't dead, for Hazel snored like a sick dog.

"Frank!" Percy called for him as he ran towards the two "She's... She'll be ok, right?"

"Yes" He smiled, easing the preassure from the three boy's shoulders "Yes, I think so. She's just exhausted"

So the four boys watched her sleep, taking in the fact that her chest went up and down and nearly crying of joyevery time she snored, because she was alive. Hazel was alive, it was unbelievable!

"By the way, how are they?" Frank asked cassualy, playing with Hazel's hair.

"How are who?" Jason asked, scratching his head.

"You know..." He started, but then realized they in fact had no clue of what he was saying "Guys! Annabeth, Piper, Will? Where are they?"

"Oh for Hades's sake!" Nico cursed and the three ran out of the scene as quickly as they had appeared.

In that instant, Hazel opened her eyes.

"Did I miss something?" She asked, rubbing her eyes and yawning.

"Nope, all good" He smiled, and helped her get up.

"Well" She declared, taking a ribbon from her pocket and tying her hair "Let's go find those gods, huh?"

***

Nico sheepishly opened the door and found the two girls sleeping on the floor, Will hugging his knees and passed out in that exact possition. He sighed.

"Hey..." He said, waking them up "How are you...?"

"What in tartarus has just happpened?!" Annabeth screamed at Percy, who had just appeared on the room.

"It's hard to explain." He excused himself

"Oh, do not fret, I have aaaalllll time in the world" She said, sitting on the bed "You may begin"

So they told them. About killing Kronos, the branding, Frank's gift. And the part of the story he had told them, about the sword that nearly killed Hazel.

When he was done, they were wiping tears from their eyes.

"But now it's over, isn't it?" Piper smiled "It's over..."

"Who said it is?" Hazel pipped, entering the room "Get up, folks, we're going god hunting!"

What she got herself? Horrified looks from everyone in the room. But she swept them away with the back of her hand and got out of the room.

"So where to the dungeouns?" She asked, turning back on the last second.

"Down?" Nico guessed.

"Down it is" She turned once more and started marching down floors and floors of stairs.

She had thought that the part over the castle was big. Well, the part beneath it was HUGE. She descended 5, 10, 20 floors and the stairs seemed endless. Behind her, everyone who had followed her started to doubt.

"Are you sure this is the right way?" Will asked her, bitting his lip.

"Pretty sure" She replied as she kept descending "Somehow, I feel this place. It's like... the Earth is speaking to me. I feel power in here. We're going in the right direction"

And who were them to argue with the girl who could feel the earth underground? So they followed her as she went down, until she stopped in midpath. It was floor 24.

She put a finger to her lips as to make them all be quiet, and looked around. There was no door, just stairs, or at least that's what they thought. But Hazel placed her hand to the wall, her eyes closed in concentration. After a few seconds, they heard a click and a passage opened.

"I'll go first" She started explaining "Swords at ready. If there's danger, we turn and run. Got it?"

They all nodded, and she turned to the door. She summoned a sword of diamond, which lighted up the dark place, before taking a deep breath and going in.

The whole place smelt like blood. Like blood and old gold, as if it was some king of weird mixture of the two. She held her breath, not wanting to smell that, and started going deeper and deeper into the tunel.

"She's dying" They heard.

"That's impossible"

"Aren't we all dying?"

"Probably. How much longer will they have us here?"

"We have to fight!"

"Shut up! We cannot fight, we're trapped!"

"So positive..."

"I said shut!"

Hazel banged her sword against the rocky walls, and silence fell upon whoever was speaking.

"What was that for?" Percy whispered at her.

"They're getting my nerve" She explained, not bothering to keep her voice low.

She used her magic to move the ancient huge locks on the door and opened it with a flick of her hand. She tons of metal weighed like nothing to her. She stepped a foot inside, and the stink turned ten times worse. The light of her sword was the only thing fighting the complete darkness.

"Hello?" She tried calling.

"What do you want?" Someone asked, Hazel got closer and knelt beside whoever it was.

It seemed like a boy, just a teenager, with blond hair and blue eyes. Scars and open wounds all over his body, golden blood pouring. His presence seemed strong and Hazel didn't have to take a closer look before realizing. That guy was a god. And so was everyone there.

She extended her hand and helped him to his feet.

"Take it easy" She adviced.

"Look who's talking" Frank winked at her.

"Not the time!" She spat, though blush creaped up her cheeks.

"Who even are you?" Asked the boy that was now up, unsteady on his feet, his whole weight on Hazel.

"Well, guess we're the heirs" She smiled "And we're here to save your inmortals butts. You're welcome"
