My diamond necklace surrounded with rose gold and a small dent in the side from my stepdad throwing it across the room. The diamond necklace I put in my Aunts casket!
"Cindy hurry up we are going to be late for coffee!" Said Hidey.
"I'll walk my self it's ok" is said not fully realizing what I was saying.
"Ok just don't forget to bring that necklace." She said
"Wait what, what necklace!"
"You promised Jeramy you'd give it back his gold chain, he dropped it like a month ago and you haven't seen him since and he needs it back!" She said
"Oh, yeah sorry I'll bring it to him today." I said in relief, then she left. I looked out my window to watch her pull out of the drive way, I waited until I could hear the sound of the car driving over the stray rocks on the driveway and the rubber on the pavement. I grabbed my purse in a flash threw my pink lulu lemon sweater over me and stormed out the door. I walked over to the comic book store so that I could see Tom Anderson.
"Tom!" I said in anger
"Oh hello Cindy Miller!"
"Shut the hell up!" I said and right after I said it I felt so guilty. "I know what you took, and that you are the anonymous person and I think that is so sick of what you put in that package!"
"Cindy what are you talking about, are you in danger Cindy Miller?" He said
"No because I found out who it is and just to let you know if I have one more message from you I will call he police!" I said as I left, I felt so bad he was trying to be nice to me but it's ok because he was being terrible to me.
I let out a breath of relief and ease, I ran over to Bubby Bobble Coffee Shop. I saw Hidey and Jeramy arguing. Then Hidey left, she got into her car and put down her convertible car top and but her shades on. I started chasing her and caught her at the first red light then got in.
"Hidey what happened to coffee with Jeramy?" I said.
"Oh well he had to go home to help out his family." She said.
"That's not what it looked like when you guys were arguing?" I said in a snotty tone.
"Oh that was just us talking about the necklace, and about our chemistry project." She said in a deceitful voice.
"I'm your partner for chemistry!"
"Oh yeah I meant science." She said as the light turned green.
"What was the argument about exactly?" I said.
"Just drop it Cindy!" She said in an annoyed and frustrated voice so I did.
We got home and quickly got ready for school Hidey went into her room and started to put her makeup on I came in a joined her. We got our school clothes on and drove to school. I felt in place for once like I belonged at school, that I was a different person.
"Hey Hidey, I heard you and Dylan aren't together anymore and do you want to go out sometime?" Said one of Austin's friend
"No thanks I don't date scumbags, bye bye!" She said I have never heard her be so rude to a guy unless they were being rude to someone she cared about.
"Calm down Hidey, what was that about?" I said
"Sorry I'm just really stressed!" She said as she tried to calm down
"About what?" I said now starting to get irritated.
"I told you" she said.
I told her she didn't but she just denied it.
"I'm just stressed about having you move in, me and Jeramy were arguing because I wanted to borrow some money and he didn't have any money" she said and I swear I think I saw a tear it was I think the first time in forever.
