Lee Jihye, Lee Gilyoung and Shin Yoosung run for their life from the demon viscount in the Dark Castle they are currently in.
Even though they had made the preparation, all of them got seperated in the maze of darkness. Lee Jihye just stumbled with these kids.
Fortunately they found a barrier to protect themselves and think of a way to run from this demon.
[Magic Power Barrier. The special barrier will be activated for 30 minutes.]
They sighed in relief.
"When will Dokja hyung back?"
“Don’t speak useless things, fool. You are hurt so go to sleep.”
Lee Gilyoung fell silent after he was hit at the back of his head. There's silence before Lee Jihye continues to speak.
"Do you believe that guy? What if he said just to sugar coat us?"
"I know ahjussi is still alive! And I trust Cale oppa! Ahjussi will come back. We just need to wait."
"We don't even know him that much! Just forget about that ugly ahjussi!"
"I don't understand why you guys say that ahjussi is ugly. How is he ugly?"
Shin Yoosung scrunched her face. She really didn't understand why they called Dokja ahjussi as ugly. It's not nice.
Lee Jihye stated her reason but the more she thinks about it, she becomes more confused with her own reasoning.
“I-It just isn’t to my taste.”
She replied to Shin Yoosung.
“…You cried so much at the funeral.”
“I was acting, you idiot. The constellations gave me a lot of coins at the time.”
[Some constellations ask Lee Jihye if it was really acting.]
Lee Jihye bit her lips.
The demon resembles a rhinoceros. The Demon Viscount Noslocke sat on the ground a few metres away, waiting for its prey.
[There is one minute left for the duration of the Ancient Magic Power Barrier.]
The demon's smile grew. Lee Jihye realised it was time.
“Yoosung. Can you pull Gilyoung up? Take him away at my signal.”
“Huh?”
“Listen to me.”
It wasn’t appropriate to sacrifice her life for a friend to live. Even so, she wanted to live like this. It was because of the teachings of the dead. She believed what the red head told them but she just ...
“Quickly! Run away and ask someone for help! Do it before-"
The surroundings become cold all of a sudden.
"Wha–"
The demon shrieked before it turned around, trying to find where the coldness was coming from.
"It's not nice to scare the kids with your ugly face."
The feminine voice caught Lee Jihye and Shin Yoosung off guard. They recognised the voice.
The body of the demon turns into an ice from its feet. The demon screamed louder before its neck got stabbed from a sharp ice.
The blood flowed everywhere. The demon's whole body turned into ice.
After the woman came closer, they could see. A long pink hair with a body adorned by an armour.
