25: their jubilation

A loud explosion occurs between them, sending both of them flying in an opposite direction. The explosion occurred because of the separation of power into two smaller ones.

That means that Cale succeeds in separating the God of Ravenous' power into two.

The power of god which is dangerous for the human body to handle.

God of Ravenous is strong. His power is remarkable. Cale could say that God of Ravenous is much more powerful than God of Despair.

They win. Cale finally can say it. They win against a god. He had killed a god.

But..

"Ugh!"

His body hunched on the ground. He is holding onto his right hand by using his left hand. Blood dripped down his mouth before he coughed out an enormous amount of black blood.

He tried to search for his woman. He doesn't know how far he got thrown away but the power explosion is quite big.

Is she okay?

– Wait a minute, the power is trying to take control!

– Do XXXXX something!

– We need divine power! Holy relics! Divine item! Anything!

Cale closed his eyes tightly. His body's temperature is rising. Sh*t! He needs to stay focused. He can't let this wicked power take control of his body.

His breathing becomes uneven. His body is shaking. He didn't stop coughing out blood.

Holy power. Divine power. Anything. His body needs those things right now.

The red webs on his skin are glowing. Those webs just continue to raise the heat of his body.

"Hyung! Cale needs that thing!"

He feels his body get raised from the ground but he can't open his eyes. He could feel a cold metal-like thing wrapped around his right wrist.

A sudden sensation makes him open his eyes instantly and he sees the same bangle he put on Naily just now.

Ah, Angelina has two of these?

His body shook before he coughed another chunk of blood. The light shone from the bangle slowly cooled down his body's temperature. The pain subsided. His body slowly being laid down on the ground, he completely lost all his energy.

He looked up at the blue sky. Looks like he is not the only one who has finished their work. Those guys up there also finished.

"Hey, can you hear me? Are you okay now? Hey answer me!"

Cale turned his head to the side, the brown-haired Korean was looking devastated.

"I'm fine."

"Bullsh*t."

The cold tone of the vampire sending chill down his spine. His body is slowly being supported by the said man.

"Don't you ever think this is the end between us."

His left hand was wrapped around Noah's shoulder securely. Cale gulped down his saliva.

He looked down on his right hand. He sighed. Will these red webs continue to stay on his skin? He could cover it if the red webs just covered his hand but his face and neck also got covered by these webs.

He looked back to find Naily. When he couldn't see her in those surroundings full of dust, he asked the two weakly.

"Where is Naily?"
