Early morning

Ding-Dong Ding-Dong!

An alarm starts to ring. Due to the alarm noise, Silver wakes up from bed and turns the alarm off.

The alarm shows the time that it is 7 in the morning. Silver quickly gets ready to go into the Professor's lab.

Meanwhile________

Ring Ring

A phone is ringing, well it's not a phone, it's pokedex. It is an all-mighty pokedex that has all the functions that one in the Pokémon world requires.

"Hello, Professor Oak here." Professor Oak answered the call and switched the ordinary call to a video call to watch.

"Hello Professor, I need your help." the Person on the other end spoke.

"Professor Rowan, sure I will help you." Professor Oak agreed to help his fellow Professor.

"Professor, I will send you a Pokémon egg that I received nine years ago it should have hatched by now but it is not showing a single moment much less hatching. Please take a look Professor." Professor Rowan stated the problem.

"Sure, I will check if there is a problem." Professor Oak agreed to check the problem that Pokémon is facing in hatching.

Professor goes to the transfer device that transfers Pokémon from one place to another place and activates the machine. The transfer machine starts to emit light downward in a container, and after the light is gone Pokémon egg is in the container.

A Pokémon trainer can only carry six Pokémon. The seventh Pokémon onward gets transferred to their respective region's professor's lab via this transfer machine automatically.

"Professor, have you received the Pokémon egg?" Professor Rowen asked Professor Oak.

"Yes, I will take a look." Professor Oak responds while checking the Pokémon egg by scanning the egg. Oak continues to do multiple tests on the Pokémon egg.

After a few minutes...

"So Professor, have you found the problem?" Professor Rowen asked Profssor Oak.

"Is this Riolu egg?" Professor Oak asked Professor Rowen instead of answering.

"Yes, professor." Professor Rowen replied.

"Is it from Lucario kingdom? where the world's strongest lucarios are born and trained?" Professor Oak asked Professor Rowen.

"Yes, professor." Professor Rowen replied.

"According to the test results, the Pokémon egg is healthy and is in good condition. But it looks like it doesn't want to come out from the egg." Professor Oak shared his findings with Professor Rowen.

"Yes, that was the result that I got as well. So any ideas Professor to make it hatch?" Professor Rowen asked Professor Oak for a solution.

"Well, we can't change its will. It would hatch when it wants on its own." Professor Oak replied.

Suddenly the Pokémon egg got surrounded by blue light and flew into the air. Professor Rowen who was watching the video call was shocked so does Professor Oak.

At the same time, Silver who was at the entrance of the lab also surrounded by blue light.

"What is this blue light?" Silver questioned himself.

At this time Silver got hit on the head by something and fell. Silver quickly stood up as if he wasn't injured. Silver quickly spotted what hit him.

"This is a Pokémon egg!" Silver noticed that the Pokémon egg hit him. This Pokémon egg is surrounded by blue light like him.

Silver and Pokémon egg blue lights joined together and disappeared. Due to the blue light connection, Silver felt the emotions of this Pokémon egg. The Pokémon egg started to shake rapidly expressing it is happy.

"It is happy." Silver understood the feeling of Pokémon egg.

"Looks like this Pokémon egg has chosen you to be its trainer." Professor Oak who followed the Pokémon egg has seen this stated.

"Then professor can I take this Pokémon." Silver asked the professor.

"You are about to receive the starter in eight months. And you took care of Pokémon in my lab for more than three years. You have no problem in receiving starter Pokémon in advance before your journey." Professor Oak gave this Pokémon egg as starter Pokémon to Silver.

Silver hugged the Pokémon egg while thinking 'My very first Pokémon and partner. In the future, you shall defeat the legendaries. Creating a legend of yours and mine as your trainer.'

The Pokémon egg shook more as if it read Silver's mind. seeing this Professor Oak smiled expressing he is happy for the kid and his Pokémon.

Silver and Professor Oak went into the lab.

"What happened Professor? Why did the egg fly off suddenly?" Professor Rowen asked with worry.

"Rowen, it seems like this Pokémon will hatch soon." Oak answered.

"How professor before it didn't even make a moment?" Rowen asked with disbelief.

"This is Silver. This kid and egg are having same aura wavelength." Oak explained as he introduced Silver to Rowen.

"This is Professor Rowen. Professor of Sinnoh region." Oak introduced Rowen to Silver.

"Ho, the same wavelength. Silver looks like you became one of the greatest trainers in the world." Rowen understood what Oak meant.

"Take good care of Riolu, Silver." Rowen ended the call with this.

'Same wavelength, I have heard this word somewhere in anime, remember.' Silver was thinking to remember this word.

'Yes, the same wavelength is related to the aura. It was mentioned in one movie of the anime.' Silver remembered the word.

"Having the same wavelength has many advantages, Silver." Oak said so that Silver wouldn't be worried about this.

"I know Professor" Silver stopped thinking as the Professor was explaining about wavelength.

Professor Oak explained about advantages of having the same wavelength for the next two or three hours.

"Directly being in the world helps to gain more understanding. Many of these advantages weren't explained in the movie like understanding the emotions of Pokémon."

At this time Gary and Ash entered the lab. Gary and Ash quickly noticed the Pokémon egg.

"Whoa, a Pokémon egg. What kind of Pokémon egg it is?" Ash asked Gary.

"How would I know?" Gary was quick to respond.

"Professor, is it my starter Pokémon egg?" Ash hugged the Pokémon egg and asked the Professor with a high voice as he was in another room.

Ash looked around so that no thieves would steal this egg while hugging tightly.

It might be because Ash said this Pokémon belongs to him the egg shone with blue light and flew out of his hands and hit him. Ash flew into the air and crushed into the wall.

"Ahahaha, you can't even hold an egg." Gary laughed seeing Ash crashing into the wall.

Gary came to the egg and said "Since I held the egg, it's my Pokémon."

Same attack by Pokémon egg. Gary flew off.

Gary opened his eyes and saw Ash was on the right side.

"Why are you here? you crushed into the wall." Gary said in disbelief while stars spun around his head.

"You got hit by the egg, AHAHAHA," Ash answered while laughing.
