He had to rush to shower and get dressed, he headed into the kitchen seeing San and Jongho serving them selves coffee "morning" said changkyun giving both a flat smile as they said their good mornings. "How was the date" changkyun curiosity got the best of him "it went great we are seeing each other tomorrow" Jongho smiled, his heart raced just thinking of yeosang. "Umm.. did shownu hyung sleep in the guest room?" Changkyun asked San sighed and nodded his head "yeah, kihyun woke up around five in the morning and uh he's been with him ever since, sorry" San looked down not knowing what else to say.
"Oh well that's g-good news then, um so can one of you take me to school? Please I'm running late." He looked in between the two, Jongho then volunteer he still needing protection from whoever wanted to harm him so changkyun couldn't just run off by himself. "We couldn't get ahold of boss to let him know where you would be but it's fine I'd rather just let you go instead of being stuck in the house" jongho opened the car door for the smaller. Changkyun pressed his lips together and nodded.
The whole ride changkyun mind was a mess wondering what on earth was shownu doing with kihyun that they couldn't get ahold of him, maybe they were going to get back together. They headed into school changkyun headed to class while jongho blended into the crowed keeping a close eye on the smaller, changkyun went about his day he got to hang out with his his friends something he hasn't done in while.
Minhyuk dragged him to a cat cafe to cheer him up, the best friends deep in conversation cuddled up with a several kittens when the waiter brought over cup of whatever tea changkyun had been drinking. "Oh, I didn't order this" he pointed at the drink "I know, but the gentleman over there did" he turned where the waiter had pointed noticing a tall guy with short pink hair, the guy gave him shy smile and a small wave changkyun waved back feeling a little nervous as he noticed the guy standing up and walked over to his table.
Wait a minute "Mingi?!" Chankyun looked at him in disbelieve "hey! So you do remember me" he reached his hand out, changkyun couldn't help but feel some sort of nostalgia seeing such an old friend from back home. "Of course i remember you!" He gushed standing up and pulling him in a tight hug, mingi cheeks turned a a dusty pink color "I saw you since you walked in, I couldn't leave without greeting you" minhyuk cleared his throat.
"Oh, mingi this is my best friend minhyuk" they both said their hellos, changkyun filled in his friend on how he and mingi first met they knew each other because of kyun's ex boyfriend taeil "Thank you for the drink" they both smiled at each other, then minhyuk couldn't help but smile at the cute exchange infront of him. He cursed shownu for making his best friend feel like he didn't matter like a second option, and maybe this is exactly what he needed a new friend to distract him from the mafia leader.
