but anyways if she's not ur friend (which u can probably ignore since she's probably a long time friend from how you knew her hair was long back then) and u dont talk regularly, try:
•saying hi to her more
•make excuses to sit next to her at lunch
•give her daily compliments
•exchange phone numbers or send letters
•offer to be partners in projects
• dont make any convos awkward for the both of you
•for the love of god dont act emo or blunt towards her.

•talk to her EVERYDAY (or when u/she can)
•smile more around her
•walk home with her
•treat her to icecream's after school
