"You wanna see other people," spat Spencer, in disbelief, slamming his locker shut as he turned to face Olivia. "I thought things were going good between us." He added, confusing to where her request was coming from.
"They are. I don't want us to stop seeing each other. " Olivia insisted, baffling Spencer. "I thought since we aren't exclusive, I should tell you I'm fine with us seeing other people besides each other."
"I get it." Spencer grumbed, swinging his bookbag over his shoulder. "You moved back to Crenshaw and jumped into with me too soon. Now that it's been a few months, you realized that some other dudes have caught your interest. Right?" Spencer lashed out angrily.
"No... that's not what this is." Olivia immediately denied, furrowing her brows, confused by how fast things lead into the wrong direction. This wasn't how this discussion was meant to go.
"Nah, it's cool, Liv." Spencer sneered, "You wanna see other people. Do you. And I'm gonna do me." He added, snatching his arm away from her grasp as she tried to get him to listen to her.
"Dammit." Liv muttered as Spencer yanked his headphones over his ears to block her out as she called his name. Storming off down the hallway, Spencer foamed over how he'd yet again lost Olivia.

"He hasn't called me or replied to a single message in the past two days, Tay. I don't know what to do." Olivia vented, dragging her folk across her breakfast tray, pushing the eggs around the red plastic tray."He's in his feelings, Olivia." Kia spoke, sipping from her bottle of lemon water. "Nelly says he barely spoke to any since you guys fought. Don't take it personal. Let him cool off, then talk to him. Tell him you were following dumb advice, and apologize for trying to speed up the stage of the relationship."
"He was dragging out the whole non exclusive thing, anyway." Taylor snubbed, biting into her strip of bacon. "He should have stepped up, and you would not have felt the need to manipulate the situation." Taylor conflicted, believing that Olivia wasn't entirely wrong for how things played out.
"This is all my fault. I should not have assumed that my advice would work for just anyone." The new girl, Mia, owned up for her part in this mess.
"That's true." Taylor agreed.
"Taylor!" Patience yelped, feeling that Taylor was too blunt with her words.
"What? If Miss fit in, wasn't so desperate to get in good with the rest of us, she would not have been so quick to give advice on a situation between two people she doesn't even know." Taylor shrugged, her protective nature over Olivia taking over. "Olivia and Spencer wouldn't be fighting if it weren't for your new bestie."
"She's right." Mia agreed once more. "So let me things right. I will go to Spencer sometime today, introduce myself, and tell him that I'm the one who gave you that terrible advice. It might not fix everything, but he will have to talk things after he finds out."
"Thanks, Mia." Olivia responded.
"It's the least I can do." Mia smiled, "Don't worry, by lunchtime, all of this will be straightened out."
