A weird feeling swept over him. He didn't understand why his forehead creased at the message, why his throat scoffed at the thought of you actually liking Izana. There's no way... I mean he didn't exactly spend a lot of time with you at the party but could anyone blame him? You were surrounded by so many people at once, he was surprised that you didn't break down right there. The way your jaw tightened when you were trying to keep up the conversation with people you probably wouldn't remember the next day. The way your eyes glistened against the lights. It wasn't from the position of the lighting either but rather... fear. 

He glances up at you, catching your smile as you laugh at your cousin when Mikey stared dead at him. He had no idea what you were talking about but it was a total contrast to the night before.

Another crease on his forehead. 

Why would you do that to yourself? 

"Hey, I think we should get going," Everyone turns their heads to him with a questioning gaze. "Already?" "yeah. Izana is already there." Mikey's head shook with a sigh, "It's always him... alright let's go,"

You get to a park with a wide plain of grass. People had already started setting up their stalls along the paved pathway for the Hanabi festival.  You see a head of platinum blonde hair frantically waving at you all. "HEY! You guys finally came," he says when you all walk up to him. "Hey, Y/n~" you giggle, waving and offer a close-eyed smile. 

That feeling... It was back again. What the hell was going on with him? 

"So where are we going to set up our stuff?" Takemichi begins looking around and places his hands on his hips. "What stuff?" Mikey and Takemichi look at each other, blinking repeatedly. They point at each other talking over one another before shouting 'I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONNA BRING IT!' 

Their idiots, really.

 "Mitsuya is bringing everything," Draken rolls his eyes and stares at the two blondes. "Smart thinking," You stand beside him and your eyes widen as you look in the distance. 

"There you guys are, I thought Mikey would have made you late." Mitsuya smiles and walks up to your small group. "Where's Baji and Chifuyu?" Mitsuya looks behind him searching. "Hmm? They were just here with me a second ago?" Grunts fill the air around you and you get pulled back into someone by your waist. A bundle of colours roll down past you and stops on top of Izana. He exhales in pain as the ball disperses to show Baji and Chifuyu. "Ah fuck," 

You look behind you and see Draken was the one who pulled you out of the way. His hands are still on your waist. Your face heats up a little and you look back to the scene in front of you. "You idiots. You could've hurt someone," He chuckles, you can feel the vibrations of his chest go off behind you and it gives you a small feeling of comfort. You feel your lips curl into a smile. 

Strange...

He realizes he's still holding onto you and lets go of you, walking to the pile of dizzy boys in front of you. You turn back to Mitsuya and see he's holding a big basket in one hand and a rolled-up blanket underneath his other arm. You grab the blanket and start to open it out, Takemichi coming to help you. "DOG PILE," "WAIT NO! FUCK!" 

Your eyes linger on the group of guys who started piling up on top of each other, leaving poor Izana at the bottom. Unknowingly your lips curl into another smile and your eyes continue to stare at his grin...

Hmm... what a strange feeling indeed.
