"WHAT?!"
Misuto cringed at Unmei's loud voice. She wasn't the only one.
The others, who were walking by the station, paused to hear what all the commotion was about. Yet Unmei did not notice the growing crowd as she continued to berate her friend.
"Uh... Unmei?"
"No! You need to understand that what you did was very stupid and- and really really risky! You should've check the label first before you go catching things you're not supposed to!" The crowd began to murmur, wondering what did Misuto do to get her friend all riled up. The girl in question started to walk backwards, hands held up defensively."I tho- it- It was an accident!"
"Yeah but you know how important it is to put the orbs in the right places! Who knows what might go wrong?! We could all.. Explode or something!" She waved her hands in the air to prove her point. Despite the tense atmosphere, Misuto couldn't help but snort at the ridiculous concept.
"Hey it could happen!"
"Well, I- Oh look at the time! I think my mother's calling me. I should really get going now, bye!" Misuto chuckled nervously, sliding away to camouflage amongst the crowd."Hey wait I'm not done ye-! Oh come on."
One day later
It was morning on the dream catcher once more. And for once in her life, Misuto got up early.
She walked down the stairs fully dressed, sitting down at the dining table, watching her mother cook breakfast. After a few seconds her mother looked up, surprised to see her daughter up so early.
"Nice to see you up and about at this time of day. What's the special occasion?"
"Oh nothing. Just wanted to have a change in my schedule you know?" Misuto shrugged, pouring herself some cereal. Her mother's eyes raised, unamused.
"Well then you best be going now." Kahna mentioned, her hand on her hip as she stared at her daughter.
"Right." Misuto swallowed her remaining breakfast in one go and kissed her mother's cheek "Bye mom!"
"Bye sweetheart! Love you!"
Misuto walked along the streets, a leather bag on her waist. Today she planned on doing her best at work. Hopefully to amend her mistakes on her first day.
Hey, maybe with a stroke of luck, Unmei hasn't told anyone about what happened.
"Hey Misuto! Unmei told me something about you mixing the vision portal stick with the nightmare one?" The familiar voice of Ito called, his figure appearing to be running towards her.
Me and my big mouth.
"Oh, don't mind Unmei, she's just. You know" Misuto waved her hands in exaggerated circles "Has her head in the clouds. You know how she's like."
"Yeah. And I know how you're like. And I don't appreciate it that you're lying to me dude."
"Drat. I should practice my lying." Misuto joked good naturally.
"Im serious Kuhara."
"I swear I didn't mean to! It was just a mix up that's all! You know, beginner's mistake?"
"Yeah but that's a terrible mistake. You know our history. Long time ago the sun and the moon-"
"Ok ok shush sh sh nobody needs a history lesson dude." Ito sighed.
"Fine. It's your problem anyway. Just, be careful alright?"
"Sure, whatever Mr Mcworrywarts."
"Misuto!"
"Haha Just kidding." Misuto lightly punched him in the arm, and started to walk off.
"Hey wait Misuto watch out!"
"Huh?" She turned her head to look at Ito.
Mistake number 3.
"Oh-woah!" Tripping over a jutting out piece of wood, Misuto fell, and into a hole in the forcefield that kept everyone in.
