"To anyone hearing this emergency message, I have been left on In-gen's Site B island. I only know of my coordinates as being at the old run down laboratory. Please hurry, I don't have much time. The place is surrounded by some sort of camouflaging dinosaur and- oh God, it's in here! Hurry-" I had played this emergency message at least 3 times but was unable to pinpoint the exact location it had come from. I sighed, finally realizing just how hard this rescue mission was gonna be. It had been years since I had last stepped foot on Isla Sorna after I had left and I hated having to go back but more than that, I hated that I had to be there longer than I had intended since now I had to search the whole island for this mystery possibly dead person. I glared down at the island out of the helicopter window and frowned as we started descending, grabbing my gear and jumping out of the helicopter once we'd landed. I immediately noticed how silent it had become. It was normal for the island to be silent occasionally due to the amount of predators around so I sought to set up camp on the beach and sleep up in the trees so the smaller, more venomous carnivores couldn't get to us and pick us off. Hopefully the fire could keep them away till then. I heard a screech far off in the distance and brought my gun out, pointing it around us to hopefully scare off whatever it was. Once I had determined that it was safe, I announced to my group that we were to set up camp first and then we would go out and search for the laboratory that the broadcast had come from. I monitored the group as they unpacked and set up tents on the sand. I advised that they should have set up the tents closer to the treeline so that the stakes for the tent had solid ground to stick into. After the camp was set up, I climbed up into a tree and set up my sleeping area. After my sleeping area was set up, I gathered a few men and went into the dense jungle of the island, keeping our weapons on hand on the occasion that we were attacked. It didn't help that even with my extensive experience and knowledge of the island, I hardly knew the monstrosities that they created, I only knew of a few and even that wasn't enough to give the others any idea of what we were about to face. As we fell into stride on a familiar path, one I had used the many years before, I couldn't help but be astonished at the condition that the island was in. It somehow had managed to look perfectly maintained despite it having been 15 years since any person had set foot on the island. A loud snapping sound from nearby tore me from my thoughts and I put up a hand to tell my group to stop walking as I walked ahead of them to investigate the source of the sound. I reached a large clearing and froze up on seeing the large form of a dinosaur I knew all too well, the very reason that I had left the island, the spinosaurus. How the hell had it managed to survive for 15 years? It should have ran out of food by now, right? I was once again pulled from my own thoughts as the spinosaurus approached, as it looked directly at me I felt a chill run down my spine before running in the other direction. I grumbled as the dinosaur got distracted and chased after another dino and ran off to hunt it. I want to leave already, whoever got stranded here could die, they sure as hell weren't worth losing my own life over because they had missed the ship out of here. Remembering that had got me thinking, if no one had been here in 15 years, how could someone have survived for this long if they had been left here? It didn't make sense. Now I was determined to figure out what was going on here and how we had gotten that broadcast.
