chapter ii. rockstar crush

except to check a certain account.

"enough stalking your rockstar crush and come do your exercises, shugen."

a voice pulled shugen's attention away from his phone screen. he looked at his friend, fuchi, momentarily before exiting the app and shutting his phone.

"right, my bad," he said and got up from his seat, placing himself beside fuchi who was doing a plank. shugen then gets into the planking position and let out a sigh.

trainings and exercises were completely normal to him, since he grew up in a household that requires him to do as much as train to protect himself. if anyone could stay in position the longest for a plank, it was shugen— with the record of being eleven minutes and twenty-two seconds.

"why do you like that rockstar girl though?" fuchi asks, feeling the pain surged throughout his entire body in the first minute of his plank.

"she's beautiful. and has an angelic voice," shugen answers. "if she sang calming songs i would sleep to her voice."

the yellow-haired male laughed at his friend's words, losing balance and falling to the ground with a grunt. "shit, i lost again haha!"

fuchi spins over and pants slightly. "no but seriously. she has an angelic voice? that's true but, are you really ever poetic to say something like that about a singer you haven't even met before?"

"for y/n, i will be poetic," the rapper replied, just as someone entered the training room.

"fuchi-san, shugen-san, go to the dance room," sagiri, the manager of the idols said as a huge smile was plastered on her face.

the two did as they were told and entered the dance room where the other idols were gathered there too.

"alright guys," sagiri cleared her throat. "as you know, you'll be performing twelve songs of 'katanasa' next week. it's an open air concert but senta-san made some arrangements to have vip privileges. which means there are vip tickets that are twice as expensive as the usual ones. the vips can meet and greet you guys vice versa."

"your point being?" the lead dancer, kisho, wiped his sweat with a red towel.

"i mean, it's pretty much general knowledge that vip tickets does so much," tenza, the center of the group added. "senta-san's a cool dude for making vip tickets!"

sagiri smiled. "that's where it gets better."

"what do you mean?" eizen the leader asked.

"five vip tickets has been quickly bought by a member of the xtasy band!" the female exclaimed. "she went out all the way to meet me at shibuya and purchase those five tickets right after it was released."

"the xtasy band!?"
"WHAT HUH???"
"five vip tickets from an xtasy member!?"

upon hearing sagiri's words, shugen's eyes lit up in the slightest way possible that fuchi seemed to notice.

fuchi has been shugen's good friend ever since they started working together as colleagues in the same idol unit and he never knew of shugen to look even in the slightest way, excited.

all he see in his friend right now is excitement of the news, even if it was hard to look under that stoic and serious façade. it was in an instant where fuchi knew why was shugen excited.

his favourite celebrity and singer is in xtasy.

"who's the member that bought the tickets?" shion, the lead vocalist asked, sipping his bottle of water.

"yu-san! apparently her parents set the arrangements with the asaemon company to get the tickets. if anything yu-san is one of our company's contributors," replied the manager.

"oo, who knew our company has a contributor from the cool rock band?!" toma, visuals of the ketsueki, commented and chuckled. "maybe i should ask nii-san and his company to invest too..."

"so, they bought vip tickets right? we just do our best to perform for them then," shugen said and did a few warm-ups.

"yeah, we can't afford to disappoint the xtasy!"
