she forgets your birthday

it's your birthday, its finally your birthday! the moment you have been waiting for!

you go out of bed and you waited for taylor to greet you, you woke up with a wide smile, your dimples showing up. you saw taylor in the kitchen, eating her own breakfast.

she's dressed up, you felt a bit upset. you thought taylor would get her day off, for you, for your birthday. but you just shrugged the pain in your chest understanding that taylor is a song writer and she needs to be busy. 

"you're awake! good morning baby" taylor greeted you with a kiss on the cheeks, you returned back a forced smile

you tried asking her

"taylor aren't you forgetting something?" you asked her hopefully she gets what you mean, but that wasn't what you thought. she tilted her head and checked her bag if she forgot something.it made you feel more upset.

you looked down at the floor, as your chest begun to ache, you just shrugged it off again. taylor noticed

"hey.. what's wrong?"

"nothing taylorr, im just hungry."

"you sure? you don't look--"

"im fine taylorr, it's okay don't worry. have a good day at work, i love you!" you cut taylor off knowing that you're voice would crack from trying not to cry. you quickly delivered your message to her and she just responded with a nod and an i love you to you.

you were pretty disappointed.

you can't believe taylor forgot your birthday. all her work made her forget your birthday, but you can't blame her, she's an artist.

you sighed trying not to cry, you just go to your bedroom stared at ceiling full of stars and planets. 

but you we're kinda cheered up when you heard a notification on your phone, seeing your friends, gigi and selena. greeted you a happy birthday. taylor's friends didn't forget about it. why did she?

you sighed again, you went unto the kitchen find the cupcake your brother lucas gave you for your birthday. you put the candle and tried singing yourself a happy birthday alone. you smiled a little after you blow the candle.

after that you ate the cake and get some sleep, you cried yourself to sleep, you pass out by now.

taylor's pov

i opened the studio's door, and saw many eyes at me looking at disbelief.

"taylor? what the hell are you doing here??" gigi asked in disbelief, she was looking at me confused, so was i.

"yeah aren't you supposed to be with corey??" selena said, disappointedly looking at me

now what's going on really?

"what?"

"taylor have you forgot? it's corey's birthday today!!" gigi yelled at me in disbelief and face palmed herself.

so did selena

my eyes lit up when i now remembered. IT IS COREY'S BIRTHDAY TODAY! that's why she was asking if i've forgotten something. she must've been upset. and she didn't look so okay earlier. giving me those fake smiles, i saw that.

"OH SHIT!" 

"go get her taylor, she must be so upset right now" selena yelled once again and gigi bid goodbyes to me as i walk through the door of the studio.

i finally got home in the apartment, it broke my heart to see the eaten cupcake with a candle having a 19th label on it. 

i don't see corey in the couch

i called his name but there's no response, not until i got to check on his room.

there he is, sleeping with the aircon on with a blanket, a baseball designed blanket, i saw the dry tear streaked in his face, i felt really guilty. i brush his hair sidewards to get a better view.

"oh baby.. im sorry.." i kissed his forehead and i was met with a blue eyes looking at me, his eyes were puffy. maybe from all those crying

"taylor? why are you here? aren't you supposed to be in the studio?" my heart ached at his words

"baby.." i hugged him tightly, i could tell he needed this.. because the way he hugged me back was heartbreaking. he was hugging me tightly too.

"why? what's up taylor?"

"baby i'm sorry, i forgot your birthday, i promise i will make it up to yo-"

"that's true and that's fine. i just let a couple of tears fall, i would be lying if i said it didn't hurt me. but i understand you had to be busy, you're just really hardworking, i know you wouldn't purposely do that right?" corey told me and gave me forced smiles, no stop i hate those corey.. but then he still manages to stay calm. I don't think i deserve him.

"never corey. never" he hugged me tightly and just kissed me in my cheeks and lips

"wanna watch movie? with my favorite snack?" 

"sure baby! i love you so much"

"i love you too taylor." 

we both watched his favorite show, stranger things and we cuddled, ordered some food for the rest of the day. corey told me he had the best birthday ever.
