Cute were family dynamics

The large black wolf lowered itself behind a bush watching its unsuspecting prey. The pup knelt next to it as they spoke through the link. "You must be downwind of your prey so they don't catch you. You mustn't make any noise" the little pup nodded as its teacher coiled back preparing to pounce. The larger wolf sprang out of the bush onto the sandy blond wolf that had been drinking from the stream knocking both weres into the cold pool as they went tumbling together kicking and biting playfully. The young pup burst out ready to pounce into the fray jumping onto his mothers stomach and yipping gleefully. The sandy blonde wolf licked the pups face lovingly and nosed him making him splash into the water. He yelped and scrambled around claws skidding on smooth stones as he made his way to the bank and shook his patched fur dry. Both elder wolves howled with wolfish laughter at their son. The pup sat down on the bank watching the older wolves come up onto the bank shake their fur dry and begin licking themselves. He cocked his head and copied their actions but his tongue caught on a particularly icy spot in his fur and he couldn't pull away. He yelped and whined as his father barked out with laughter snorting occasionally. His mother came over licking the patch of ice with the warmest part of her tongue as it melted he pulled his tongue away and licked her muzzle in thanks. The family made their way back through the woods towards their home happily frolicking. The family walked to the porch and the dad shifted into a tall man with dark laughing eyes and dark black hair opening the door for his wife and child. The son went into the house shifting into a boy of maybe 7 with dirty blonde hair and bright green eyes. The mother was next, a woman with striking blonde hair and jade green eyes who kissed her husband on the cheek and wrapped a quilt around her son.
