How To Fall For You

PROLOGUE

Sniffing sound echoed in the empty hallways of a big building.

"Oh my..."
A girl with plain black hair and brown eyes cried, her hands covering her face that held a stream of tears flowing.

"M-My Lucas..."
She let out in between her sniffles.

She was Lee Jihye, a university student abandoned by her parents.

She came at this tall building to jump from it and end her miseries. Though she postponed the plan when the new update of her favourite Wattpad fanfic came.

But sadly, she never knew that the update is going to be this painful.

Her two favourite characters died...

Now there was no reason for her to continue living.
Though she would miss her phone and bed...

"This world is so cruel"
She said between her loud sniffs.

"I am coming to you, my beloveds"
The girl muttered determined and stood up to look down at the ground from the tall building.

She gulped in fear, it's gonna hurt.

She took a step forward and closed her eyes and ran towards the edge of the building but stopped, she opened her one eye and then in fear jumped off the building.

That was, by all way, nothing but a idiotic idea.

The crowd of people stood around the girl who was now taking her last breath. Blood flowed out from her head on cue staining the grey Street red.

Her head weakly turned to the other side, her gaze lingering at her broken phone that had the latest chapter of the fanfic on the screen.

'It's been a good life, well not really but good life with anime...'

'I'll miss you...'

She thought slowly closing her eyes and drifting off into a slumber. But not so soon until her friend jumped towards her from the middle of the crowd and started wipping and shaking the body of her lifeless friend.

Slowly Lee ji Hye opened her eyes and looked at her friend. Her mouth urging to spout a curse at her friend.

'Atleast let my die peacefully idiot!'

She thought in her mind but was too weak to form words.

Her friend was a short gremlin with chocolate brown silky hair and lovely mint green eyes.

Suddenly another girl ran towards her from midst the crowd and started scream-crying.

"You idiot!!"
The newly arrived brunnete yelled making the dying girl glare at her. Weakly.

She had dark brown hair and olive green eyes.

'And I thought I could die peacefully...'

She internally pondered and shed tears of pain.

"Lucas died. I know, your father and mother threw you out of the house. You are homeless. Your friends are useless. I know. You are poor. You have one phone without charger and use it to distract yourself when hungry. You don't have money to buy food. I know it all"

"But you don't had to die on me!"
She cried not noticing how much loathe filled gaze the dying girl was giving.

'Thank you for reminding me how much pathetic I am'

She internally imagined to punch the brunnete who continued blabbering nonsense while crying.

The pain in her head increased making her realise that it was finally time.

"Jeannette and Ijekiel would be happy now..."
The dying girl started mumbling weakly making the two brunnete place her head on the mint-eyed brunnete's lap.

"Lucas and Athanasia are dead....In the end...I...I don't have a reason to live..."
The girl spoke looking pitiful.

She lift her hand and placed it on the cheek of the olive eyed brunnete.

"My last wish... please...delete my search histor....y...."
And that was the end.
The story of the death of Lee Ji Ye and the start of Athanasia.

'And that's how I died'
Lee Ji Hye thought with a deadpanned look.

She never expected that she would get  reincarnated in another world as a another person after dying a lame death.

She looked around the room, her eyes glancing at the several jewels and shiny things.

'I'm never gonna get used to this....'
She thought and sighed.

It's not like she was sad of being regressed. But the problem is that why it gotta be in ancient times!?

With no laptop or  phone what would she do!?
Count ducks?
Oh hell nah.

And on top of that, she is a abandoned princess!
She can't even behave like a fool or people would think she had gone crazy!!

But who cares about some cursed etiquette and rules!?

Surely not her.

"Princess"
A brunnete haired lady came inside the room with a tray full of sweets.
Lee Ji Hye's mouth started watering as she looked at the brunnete and signalled to place the tray infront of her on the table.

"You're the best Lily!"
The princess exclaimed before gobbling up the food infront of her like she haven't eaten for quite awhile.

But the maid, just looked at her eating happily with a warm smile.

'Ahhhh... it's been a while since I tasted sweets!'

The princess thought and kept eating until her stomach could not hold more.

She savoured the sweets and pulled a bright smile.

'Lucky that this body doesn't even get fat!'

She thought and smiled.

Overall, if not the rules, her life is going great.

She get every three meals that are so much tasty and also gets to wear pretty dresses and ofcourse! Gold and jewelleries! She won't forget her babies!

But...

With every up their is a low...

In good their is bad and vice versa...

The bad thing is...

Why does she gotta be the pitiful princess Athanasia!!!

The one who killed herself in the Wattpad fanfic she had read before dying!

Yeah, Athanasia indeed was one of the few characters she liked in the book but still...

Why it gotta be the forgotten princess!?!
