His Secret Smile (Vsoo)

- Chapter 13 -

Hae-in's P.O.V -

Funnily enough, she licked her lips while I was looking at them- I realized what I was doing and looked away.

"Let's go buy you something to eat, babe?" I asked and held her hand.

...again, the strange feeling of someone watching us came by but as always, I ignored it. But this time, I swore to myself, if I felt so again, I would check what's wrong.

"So, what does my jichu want to eat?" I asked.

"Chickennnn!" She exclaimed.

"Okay but what type of chicken?" I asked again.

"Um- the fried chicken! The sweet and spicy one!" She said and smiled cheekily.

'STOP STEALING MY HEART EVERY SECOND, KIM JISOO!' I wanted to say but how could I-?

"Okay okay, but we have to find it first!" I said as we walked through the park.

"Oh! There it is!" Jisoo said and pointed towards a small tent-like house-ish area.

"Let's go!" I said as we ran towards the place.

"Good evening, ma'am and sir." The lady said as she did a little bow.

We both bowed back, "Good evening to you as well!"

"So, what would you like to have today?" She asked.

"Nothing much- just 2 plates of sweet and spicy chicken with a soda on the side!" I said.

"Which soda exactly, sir?" She asked.

"Umm..." I looked at Jisoo.

"We would like the Coca Cola please." She said and smiled at the lady.

"Please give me a minute," she said and started placing the food in the plate while me and Jisoo started talking.

"So, how's life?" Jisoo asked.

"Pretty boring, to be honest. But with you here, everything seems perfect!" I said.

"The order's ready sir!" The lady said.

"Aha yes," me and Jisoo walked over and she handed us the two plates and cold drink.

"Oh and- the two of you are a cute couple." The lady said and smiled.

"Hmm? Thank you so much but we're not a cou-" I said but before I finished, Jisoo glared at me. I gave her the- 'what?' look.

"Thank you!" She said. We both walked off and finally started eating.

"What the heck, Jisoo? We're not a couple, why'd you glare at me like that back then?" I said as Jisoo placed her index finger on my lips.

"Why can't you understand, Hae-in? I'm not okay with us being JUST friends- you know what I mean, right? I have feelings for you, darling, I love you. I want us to be together." Jisoo said.

"I want to be yours." She added.

I was taken aback by what she said.

"Jisoo, we can't-" I was about to say something but I was cut off by Jisoo's laughter. I looked at her confused. After laughing for a good 2 minutes, she tried catching her breath and saying something but never mind, she started laughing again!

She laughed for another 2 minutes as I waited patiently for her to stop while I ate my chicken.

"Are you done? My god, Jisoo." I said.

"Don't mind me, hinnie! I love teasing you." She said pulling my cheeks.

"Such a sweet little way to annoy someone." I said and rolled my eyes.
