His Secret Smile (Vsoo)

- Chapter 12 -

Hae - In P.O.V -

I had SO much planned for Jisoo, oh god, she had no idea!

And if you're wondering, yes, I rented out the whole amusement park for her! Just like the K-dramas! No, don't get me wrong, I don't 'LIKE' like her. She isn't the one I'm looking for, or maybe she is, aah I don't know and neither do I want to.

Even if I ever like her, I don't think I will confess, I do NOT want to ruin this beautiful relationship between us, we're best as friends.

"Wait here!" I said as we got down the bus and stood right in front of the park.

I quickly ran towards the guard and showed him my ticket to prove him that I was the one who rented the park for exactly 5 hours and 53 minutes (the blue hour).

Yes yes, that's right. Even though it's not related and 5:53 a.m. is just an hour, I couldn't help but do that, TXT had their influence on me-

Wait, you didn't know? I'm a die hard K-pop fan! I don't think I told you before. Well, now you know!

"Okay sir, you can enter but before you do, a few rules." He said and Jisoo came forward and stood beside me.

"Tell us!" She said and smiled at the guard to which the guard blushed. No wait, HE B.L.U.S.H.E.D.

I mean- Jisoo's smile is sort of deadly, anyone would blush so- I forgive him.

"Ok ma'am and sir, so -
1) No littering, please.
2) No causing damage to property.
3) Trained staff members are there to handle rides, please listen to everything they say.
4) You have exactly 5 hours and 53 minutes before we close down the park.
5) The most important one, have fun!" He said and smiled brightly at the both of us. Damn- the guy was handsome.

"Thank you!" Jisoo and I coincidentally said together and smiled at each other.

We walked into the park. Now since I had booked the amusement park, Jisoo (and I) could eat anything and everything in the park, for free! The staff would just serve it to us.

Now you may be wondering how much this cost me. It was some 200,000 dollars...but I can most definitely do this much for my darling friend!

"Let's go on the rollercoaster!" Jisoo said.

"Aah no no, I'm scared of all this-" I said.

"Let's go in that!" I added and pointed to a carousel made for kids.

Jisoo rolled her eyes and simply pulled me to the rollercoaster. Once we reached, she said - "Do it for me hinnie!" And made puppy eyes on me.

"Jisoo, I canno-" I said and before I finished, her puppy eyes intensified.

"Fine fine, let's go, just this once, only for you!" I said and sighed to which Jisoo jumped and hugged me.

"Thank you hinnie!" She said and placed a kiss on my cheek. And for some damn reason, that gave me butterflies in my stomach but I just ignored the weird feeling. I was probably just- aah I don't know! Don't ask me.

We climbed onto the rollercoaster's seat and the staff members put on our seatbelts. I had a strange feeling that someone was watching the two of us secretly but I ignored that as well.

Jisoo smiled at me once the staff were done putting those seatbelts and stuff on. I smiled back. After that, she held my hand tightly and assured me everything will be alright.

"It will be okay, Hinnie!" She said and smiled all over again at me.

"I don't trust you, Jichu!" I said and smiled back, sarcastically.

"Oof- that pierced right through my heart!" She said and dramatically placed her hand on her chest.

"Stop, you can't fool me!" I said and she pouted.

"Okay, so the ride will start in 2 minutes, please ensure your seatbelts are properly done and DO NOT, at any point during the ride, try to open the belt. Have fun!" The staff member announced over the mic.

"We've got this, Hinnie!" Jisoo said and looked forward. I just looked at her and looked forward as well.

...and then the ride began, and at this point I realized why I hated rollercoasters.

I screamed like a dolphin when the ride swooshed down cutting through the atmospheric/air pressure. It felt like my facial features would fly off if I sat on the ride for another second.

I continued screaming and then I heard a laughter, it wasn't any normal laughter though.

IT WAS JISOO- SHE WAS LAUGHING ON MY MISERY??!?! SHE WAS THE ONE WHO MADE ME SIT ON THIS STUPID RIDE- AND NOW SHE WAS LAUGHING? OH MY GOD, HOW I HATE HUMANS.

I looked at her and she laughed even more! I finally told her to stop in the most serious tone possible and she stopped laughing, like finally. I know I ruined the mood and all, but how DARE she? I was really upset and disappointed.

...and the ride ended, those 3 minutes felt like an eternity. I quickly undid my seatbelt and got off the ride, without sparing a glance at Jisoo.

She ran behind me and held my hand.

"What is it?" I asked, I was really mad.

"What happened to you? Why the sudden mood change, hmm?" She asked, clearly disappointed as well.

"Jisoo- you literally laughed on me while I was facing my biggest fear, just because you wanted to go on that ride." I said and looked at her right in the eye.

"You're...scared of roller coasters?" She asked.

"No, no! I love them! I could sit on them all day long and I just said no to you because I was playing hard to get!" I said, sarcastically.

"I'm so sorry, hinnie. I had no idea about your fears! I would never laugh on you. I laughed because of the WAY you screamed. Like a dolphin." Jisoo explained.

"Still- you think what you did was right?" I asked.

"No," she said and looked away.

"I don't blame you but laughing like that- it made me feel...insulted." I said looking down at the ground.

"Wait, you love food, right?" Jisoo asked.

"Yes, I do, how does that matter here?" I asked back.

"Haha- let me buy you something to eat!" Jisoo said and smiled.

"That will make the both of us happy." She added. I smiled at how cute she was and ruffled her hair to which she pouted.

"You do know that I have rented the whole theme park and we can eat literally anything for FREE?" I said and continued smiling at her as she sighed confused.

"Fine fine, you but me something to eat! I'm hungry." Jisoo said and placed her hand on her tummy.

"Sure, follow me." I said and smiled.

"So you forgive me?" She asked.

"Yes, yes of course I do!" I said as I pulled her cheeks.

"I'm sorry, hinnie" she said and kissed my cheek- no no, you're getting me wrong, she kissed me! Again! Does she...like me?

I looked at her and then at her lips. That perfect rosy color, so soft and pretty.
