Chapter 150

Flash Marriage He Made My Jaw Drop

After dealing with Hendrix, Damien sat on the leather sofa with a blank expression.

The cigarette at his fingertips had been slowly burned out, and he felt pain in his hand, so Damien stubbed out the cigarette butt in the ashtray.

Damien read again the materials of Vivienne’s prenatal check- up a few years ago.

Vivienne went for a check–up every other month. The baby was born in July four years ago, and it was a baby girl.

As for where that child was now, Elena should be very clear.

Damien was upset, and suddenly learned that Vivienne had given birth, how could his mood not be affected at all.

It was not the first time for Vivienne, he knew about it, but Vivienne had given birth to a child before, and the news was like a bolt from the blue.

Damien thought of what Vivienne had told him. Vivienne suffered from severe depression and lost part of her memory.

Presumably, Vivienne’s depression had something to do with giving birth.

Damien didn’t know what happened to Vivienne in the past, and from these cold words, he could only see the surface.

One thing Damien was sure of was that Vivienne did not remember being pregnant and having a child, otherwise with Vivienne’s character, it was impossible for her to ignore the child.

Even a strange, unrelated Eve, Vivienne couldn’t bear to see

her suffer. Even if there was pressure in life, she wanted to adopt her, let alone a child of her own.

Damien was sure that Vivienne wasn’t cheating on him, but Elena and Lainey must know these things.

Damien recalled that when he accompanied Vivienne to the medical examination, Lainey rushed over and insisted on accompanying her and asked him to wait outside.

Apparently, Lainey was worried that he knew Vivienne once had a baby.

“Damien, I’m exhausted, don’t send me to that deserted place next time.”

Grayson pushed open the office door and came in. As soon as he landed in Washington DC, he went back to the company to complain to Damien.

“The southwest region is so desolate, I can’t even find a

beautiful woman there, it’s too bitter. Do you know what kind of life I live there? It was like hell…”

Grayson kept complaining, and Damien didn’t say a word from the beginning to the end and didn’t listen to what Grayson said at all.

“Damien, what’s wrong with you?” Grayson noticed that Damien was distracted, and waved his hand in front of his eyes, “You look so lost, did you quarrel with Vivienne?”

Damien got up, “It’s just in time for you to come back. Tonight’s dinner with Mr. Darcy, you will go instead of me.”

Grayson immediately cried out, “Damien, my dear brother, I

just came back, let me take a breath.”

“I’m here to train you. The dinner is at seven o’clock in the evening. You must go.” Damien said, picked up the information on the table and the phone, and left.

It quickly darkened outside.

Damien was driving aimlessly on the street when Vivienne

called.

Seeing the caller ID, Damien frowned.

He could accept that Vivienne had given birth to a child, but he could not accept that Vivienne might have a very important man in her heart.

What kind of man would make Vivienne drop out of school, get pregnant out of wedlock, or even destroy her own future to give birth to that child?

Damien was so terrified that he didn’t even dare to ask

Vivienne.

Vivienne once said that those lost memories may affect their marriage, which made Damien even more afraid to ask. What if Vivienne remembered, would she leave him to find that

man?

He didn’t answer Vivienne’s call and muted his phone directly. He stepped on the gas pedal, and the car drove toward the top of the suburban hill.

He needed a place to calm down.

At this time, Vivienne was at home, looking at the unanswered Phone call, feeling flustered.

“Vivienne, have you called him yet? When will Damien come back? It’s time for dinner.” Elena came out of the kitchen with

the last dish.

After Vivienne got off work, she was worried about Eve and was in a hurry to go home. She didn’t wait for Damien to pick her up and came back by car.

Vivienne put away her phone and said, “He may still be busy, let’s have dinner first.”

“Eve is hungry, let’s eat.” Vivienne took Eve’s hand and walked toward the dining table, “Mom, it’s been a long time since I ate the food you make, why don’t you move here to live with us so that Damien and I can have hot meals made by you after work every day.”

Elena smiled and said, “No way! You just want me to be your nanny.”
