Agnes, Joseph and Hayley returned home with The Codex of Darkness. Agnes noticed the change in Hayley after taking the book to read on. They returned to their cottages, Agnes worried for Hayley's safety while occupying the book. Agnes could feel the dark magic  emanating from her from just a few blocks away. Hayley summoned the book and carefully lifted it with her telekinesis. She brought all the candles to the floor and with a wave of her hand. They lit. As she opened the weathered pages, a rush of anticipation was rushing through her body, she couldn't resist to read upon the ancient secrets that this book contains. With a steady hand, Hayley began her meticulous study of the Codex, tracing her fingers over the intricate illustrations and deciphering the cryptic text that adorned each page. She immersed herself in the world of arcane lore, absorbing the wisdom of those who had come before her.

The Codex of Darkness was not for the faint of heart. It held the accumulated knowledge of forbidden magic and untold power. Hayley navigated through its pages, delving into chapters that explored the dark arts, forbidden rituals, and the chilling histories of ancient practitioners. Each passage revealed a deeper understanding of the Codex's magical properties, and she couldn't help but marvel at its potential. She felt a rush of excitement run through her, knowing that she was about to become one of the most powerful species alive when absorbing this books power. The answers the Codex provided were not easily obtained, Hayley faced riddles, puzzles and enchantments that protected these answers. She consulted dusty tomes and cross-referenced ancients scribes and texts, gradually piecing everything together.

As the nights turned into days and the days turned into weeks, Hayley was inseparable from what the book contains. As she delved deeper and deeper and deeper her fingers and clothes started to wore out and eventually turn black as the magic contained in the book corrupts her by the minute. Agnes and Joseph tried checking up on Hayley but it never worked, the Codex was stopping people from coming in with a powerful black magic boundary that sealed everyone out of Hayley's cottage while the book was out and in use. Through her delicate studies, she unlocked the books abilities to reveal hidden pathways and illuminate strides of ancient magic that were left untampered with. Hayley revealed many other abilities like prophetic visions, dark runes, forbidden rituals. And most of all she can see into the past of someone if she contains a related object of theirs.

Hayley sought out to reveal the answers of the past about her heritage, Josephs past story and her covens past. Hayley closed the book after weeks of being possessed into it. She left her cottage and went towards Josephs cabin, she went in and took a familiar necklace of his, one that contains a spell that only his family can do. She took it back and studied the necklace noticing that the same necklace is also inscribed in Codex of Darkness. She held it in her hand and tried to remove the spell from the necklace so she could open it and reveal the inside of it. She eventually removed the spell of off the necklace opening the necklace. She opened it and saw a note, it said "The Lunar Triad". She had no idea what it meant. She went to Agnes hoping that she had an idea what this note means. Hayley approached Agnes' secluded cottage, nestled deep within the mystical woods. The air crackled with a hint of anticipation as she knocked on the door, her heart pounding with a mixture of nerves and determination.

Opened the door with a quizzical expression on her face. "Hayley," she greeted, her voice carrying the wisdom of ages. "To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?" Hayley stepped forward, her gaze meeting Agnes' keen eyes. "Agnes, I've come seeking your guidance and knowledge," she replied, a sense of urgency evident in her voice. "I need to learn about The Lunar Triad. Do you have any information on them?" Agnes furrowed her brows, her confusion apparent. "The Lunar Triad?" she repeated, contemplating the name. "Ah, yes, the convergence of witches, werewolves, and vampires. A delicate alliance, bound by the forces of the moon." Hayley nodded eagerly, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "That's exactly it! I've stumbled upon whispers and hints of it from the Codex." " You want the whole story?" Agnes questions Hayley seeing if shes interested. Hayley nods eagerly. "Ok then it all started a long time ago."
