The boys were walking from class.
"So Dubstep, I heard prom is coming up, you gonna ask Poppy?"
Branch suddenly choked on his own spit.
"WHAT?!"
Synth laughed at his reaction.
"So I was right, you do like Poppy! Pay up Demo."
Synth held out his hand as Demo groaned and gave him 10 bucks.
Gust shook his head at the two.
"Should've known you two would bet on something like this."
Synth grinned victoriously.
"Well, if you're going to ask her out Dubstep, I suggest you hurry."
Branch looked at him confusingly.
"Why is that Synth?"
"Some boys here have had their eyes on Poppy for a while now."
Gust and Demo nodded in agreement.
Branch suddenly felt anger and jealousy. He had feelings for Poppy the moment he saw her, and he wasn't going to let anyone take her away from him.
They noticed Branch's expression and watched him stand up and leave.
Synth looked at them worriedly. "You don't think he'll do something rash do you?"
Gust adjusted his hat, "If his feelings are that strong, there's no telling what Branch will do."

Poppy was putting her things in her locker.
She turned around to meet the eyes of a red male troll, known as Sunset. He stared at Poppy while grinning, making her uncomfortable.
"Can I help you?"
"You sure can hottie." He suddenly got closer, invading Poppy's space.
She backed away, "I would like it if you moved away from me."
"Oh don't be like that." He got closer to her, until he felt someone knock him back.
