Sunset sneered at Branch.
"What's the big idea?! I was about to ask this cutie a question."
Students started to snoop in on the drama.
Branch stood in front of Poppy, refusing to let him get any closer.
"It's obvious she doesn't want you near her, so I suggest you leave."
Poppy blushed at the protectiveness of Branch.
Sunset grinned as his two friends came to his side.
"I think we should teach him a lesson, don't you think?"
Poppy held onto Branch's arm, "You can hurt me, but leave her out of this."
Sunset cracked his knuckles, "Have it your way then."
Before he could approach the two, a fist punched him in the nose.
Sunset winced in pain as his nose started bleeding.
"WHO DID THAT?!" He looked up to see Val and Demo glaring at him.
Val took a step forward, "It was me punk, and there's more where that came from."
Laguna and Synth came to Branch and Poppy's side. "You guys ok?"
Branch nodded, "We're fine, thanks for the help."
Sunset held his nose, "Only two of you are willing to fight? We can take you on!—" Before he could say anything else, his friends got kicked back by two pairs of hooves.
"Don't try it buster." Holly and Gust came up, and stood with Val and Demo.
Sunset and his allies backed away in fear, then ran off.
Poppy smiled gratefully at her friends, "Thank you guys," she looked at Branch, "and thank you, Branch." She hugged him tightly.
"Ooooh." Demo and Synth teased at Branch, who was blushing embarrassingly.
