"brielle why the hell you walkin so slow?" devon asked.

"im not this is my normal speed..." brielle said. she was lying tho she was nervous to see the boys and was scared of what they would think of her. she was also scared they would think she looked ugly or something since she was now aware that she looked different.

" ok we're here they should be near the swings" aaliyah said as the three girls walked into the park.

"uhh guys you know what, I just realized i forgot my wallet" brielle said. she was tryna get her way out this situation making up anything at this point

" no you didn't, it's in my bag" devon said. devon knew what brielle was trying to do and wasn't gonna let her get away with it.

"oh, never mind then sorry..." brielle said quietly

walking over the swings she saw the three boys sitting there. she wanted to run and hide but she knew devon would drag her back anyways.

"hi guys" aaliyah said causing all three boys to look up. david was about to say hi back but noticed brielle standing next to aaliyah looking down at the ground

" yo, who is that?" david asked since brielles head was down he couldn't see her face.

david saying this caused the other two boys to look up confused. it took david a couple seconds to figure out who it was since the girls never brought a new girl with them anywhere, until it him.

"YOOO I KNOW THAT AINT BRIELLE MOTHERFUCKIN MOORE!" david yelled while jumping up from the swing.

brielle looked up smiling a little causing david to pull her into a bone crushing hug

"hi david" brielle said while giggling a little

"yo she mad federal" darrian said laughing

"what do you mean, i didn't say anything bad?" brielle questioned. she had no clue what she did that was considered "federal" all she did was say hi

"bri you said his first name he doesn't really go by that anymore, none of the boys go by their first names anymore." aaliyah said.

"we go by dd,notti,and ddot" ethan said speak for the first time.

hearing ethan well notti speak made brielle finally look at her old crush. her heart was jumping, she didn't think she would still have feelings for him after all these years but the way he looked and was looking at her made her heart flutter.

"oh ok, im sorry" brielle said quietly. she was extremely quite around the boys she had no clue why but she just felt the need to be around them.

"yall wanna roll up with me?" ddot asked

the whole group said yea execpt brielle, she just followed them to the park bench and sat between notti and devon

"elle how was atlanta?" notti asked. he was happy to see brielle again, she looked beautiful to him and felt like he was starting to like her again, he didn't act on the feelings he barely know were there like he would with any of girl. brielle felt different, he felt like he needed to actually get to know her again to determine his feelings

"it was fine, i made a couple friends, nothing special." brielle said

"why you being so quiet, you were never quiet when you were younger?" ddot asked. he wasn't trying to be rude he was just hella confused on where the loud, optimistic, and opinionated girl went.

"that hoe aint quiet she just shy right now" devon said making brielle giggle a little

the group was talking and enjoying each others company again. it made everyone happy and felt like old times again. the blunt was being passed around but once it got time for notti to pass to brielle she shook her head no.

" what you too boujee know to smoke a blunt I rolled perfectly?" ddot said with a sassy tone

"no im not too boujee, i just don't smoke." brielle said

the group looked at her like she had three heads, they don't remember the last person they meet that didn't smoke, vape nothing.

"you wanna try it, it might make you less shy" dd suggested

"fr, it'll help relive some of that tension" Ddot said

"nah she not smokin nothin she'll get out her shell whenever she ready" notti said. notti didn't know why he said that he just felt the need to defend her and for her to keep whatever innocence she had left in here, even if it was just smoking a simple blunt.

"anyways, y'all wanna head back to mine so my moms and the rest of the family can see brielle again? dd asked

all the teens agreed, got up from the picnic table and walked back to the Reyes household.
